hey man thanks for helping me out!

But if lets say I take 2 year instead of 3 for the installments, at the end of 2nd year when I've completed - I will still probably be using digi plan for my line, the price is still $88 right or is it $63?

If after my contract ended, I re-chose digi again and pay $63 then I'll definitely go for 2 year.
As far as I can tell just bring the usual stuff, like IC, credit card can already.
*
after 2 years, the plan will become RM88 per month. after that, just cut the line if you don't want to use. if you want to continue, then pay RM88 per month.

Hi everyone, I intend to buy an iphone 4 but still worrying those so called "problems" will irritate me.

So, I am here to seek for confirmation about those who got the current batch of iphone 4 had faced any problems (like reception, signal dropping, dead pixels) ? If you guys got it, how you guys solved it?

If I'm not mistaken, the phone has a GPS component onboard. From my tests, if the phone is not in Airplane Mode, when you lose your 3G/Edge connection, it will still be able to track where you are. However, it will not be able to load the map tiles.

So far, I've never had any problems with mine. I've got good reception, never had signal drops (except for areas where DiGi has coverage problems) and no dead pixels. I've seen someone exchange their iPhone 4 for a new one when I bought mine. I assume that the person had a defective model. Just bring it in and they'll try to help you out.

An update from Johor Bahru Molek Branch: According to the staff they just replenished their stock this afternoon so there should be plenty for everyone.

Btw after I got my iphone4, there was a call from digi automated voice call saying something and I accidentally hung up the phone, anyone know what is it regarding? It's an automated sound asking me to press 1 for englsh bla bla

went to SS2 digi and registered for a Data plan today, had a lil chit chat session with the sales guy. He told me that every outlet can only sell 20 iphone 4 a day. After the sales of iphone reached 20 , whoever came and enquire about iphone , they will just say SOLD out.

Hm according to the sales staff today, the outlet(johor bahru molek) didn't have any stock all morning and they only replenished their stock in the afternoon. As I was making my purchase the staff ask another staff something like "can still sell?" or something so maybe it is true that there is a limitation on how many they are selling per day.

Port in means changing your old sim card to the new one? If yes then it is immediately and foc as well, I can make calls right after but need to wait 24 hours before I can use the 3G

--

Can anyone help me out with the question below?

"Btw after I got my iphone4, there was a call from digi automated voice call saying something and I accidentally hung up the phone, anyone know what is it regarding? It's an automated sound asking me to press 1 for englsh bla bla"

--

Also not sure if I misheard, the staff says if the phone enters into an area with no 3G connectivity it may automatically switch to "Digitnet?" and the charges for Diginet will be costly (additional charges will be applied). If it's true, how do we set roaming of 3G to exclude Diginet? I don't want any surprises in my bill.

Thanks for your sharing... anyway, my port in is from telco to digi... I think it take 1 day to port...

Besides, according to ur question, may be you are new sim card... so normally it happen in your first call... asking you to decide default language for your phone number account.... shd not be a big issue... =)

port in means switching telco...
example : MAXIS port in to DIGI

the automated voice call most likely to be the company survey, how their staff answers ur queries...
hanging up wont result on anything...

those areas without 3G connectivity will change ur connection to EDGE, if out of EDGE Coverage will change to GPRS, no extra charge inbound for the internet services, however, speed varies on different connection...

shd be clear answer to ur questions?

somewhere in the settings you can find you data session. how much you use etc...
just reset every month if you wish to monitor that month's usage...

*sorry i dont have my iphone with me now so cant really guide you to the menu*

but shd not worry if you are with digi network... extra usage wont cost u anything but time...
