1st option;

is it possible purchase the ip4 using my maybank debit card?
*
Yes, this is how I got my iPhone from Digi.

EDIT: Make sure you set your limit to above that of the price of the phone. To set that limit, you must go to an ATM.

guys..u all just turn on cellular data all the way?..(since digi did not charge extra for exceeding limit)
*
I only turn it off when I can't charge my phone and my battery's about to die. Other than that, I've never turned it off. I took the iDigi 238 and since I got the phone in September, I've only used 1.7GB total. There's very little reason to turn it off.

@huaidan13: The DiGi rep told me that I can't set auto-billing with a debit card.

@ LancerDragoon no, really? auto-billing means your merchant (Digi) will auto-charge your card for x amount each month.

that's not gonna work with a debit card, obviously.

just get a credit card. 'nuff said.
*
How was it obvious? My gym auto charges my debit card every month just fine. The odd thing is on Digi's OCS site they state that auto billing can be done with a debit card as well, so I have no idea why the rep said that.

It's a personal preference but I'd rather not get a credit card, actually.

Hey, just a simple question iphone uses google map for gps rite?
which means we need internet access

so if we go out of edge/3g coverage does the gps google map still works?
*
If I'm not mistaken, the phone has a GPS component onboard. From my tests, if the phone is not in Airplane Mode, when you lose your 3G/Edge connection, it will still be able to track where you are. However, it will not be able to load the map tiles.

Hi everyone, I intend to buy an iphone 4 but still worrying those so called "problems" will irritate me.

So, I am here to seek for confirmation about those who got the current batch of iphone 4 had faced any problems (like reception, signal dropping, dead pixels) ? If you guys got it, how you guys solved it?
*
So far, I've never had any problems with mine. I've got good reception, never had signal drops (except for areas where DiGi has coverage problems) and no dead pixels. I've seen someone exchange their iPhone 4 for a new one when I bought mine. I assume that the person had a defective model. Just bring it in and they'll try to help you out.
