Hi everyone,

I'm from Johor bahru, anyone knows which branch has available stock?

I'm planning on getting myself a 16gb iphone with the idigi88 plan with 36month installment at $102.16

Is it alright? are there any additional charges or anything I should be aware of?

yo bro.

don't ever do the 36 month installment plan because it not worth. for example; now you subscribe for 2 years for the 16gb iphone 4 and pay RM63 per month for the plan (RM63 per month for 2 years) and do installment for 36 month. when comes 3rd year, you need to pay RM88 per month for the plan for 12 months.

EPP 36 months: includes the iPhone + 24 months monthly fee + 5% service tax, over 36 months. From Month 25 (Year 3) onwards, normal monthly fee will be charged in the DiGi bill.

hey man thanks for helping me out!

But if lets say I take 2 year instead of 3 for the installments, at the end of 2nd year when I've completed - I will still probably be using digi plan for my line, the price is still $88 right or is it $63?

If after my contract ended, I re-chose digi again and pay $63 then I'll definitely go for 2 year.

Hey friend, as I said earlier.
Taman molek Digi centre is the place I recommend.
Went there twice already and every visit usually have stock.

But to be safe try and give them a call first for confirmation whether they have stock or not if you have doubts.
Cheers mate smile.gif

Thanks for the reply!  smile.gif

Just to make it clear, when I said my friends asked me not to buy an IP4, doesn't mean not to sign up with Digi (or any other telco),
they simply think I will regret to pay RM2k to get a smartphone with "so many problem" (they said one, not me  tongue.gif )

(one of my friend even show me his IP4 --- I dont want to mention which telco --- when it's raining heavily outside (in Puchong main area), completely no line...  sad.gif , and said his battery never gonna last more than 24hours, that's make me really worried  cry.gif )

That's really odd, I've seen tons of review stating that Iphone4 has definitely better reception as well as battery life over all other older iphones.

Battery life should be able to last at least 1 day with quite heavy usage

Can other iphone4 users confirm this? I'm gonna get 1 soon o.O"

Just went by digi and got myself an iphone4

An update from Johor Bahru Molek Branch: According to the staff they just replenished their stock this afternoon so there should be plenty for everyone.

Btw after I got my iphone4, there was a call from digi automated voice call saying something and I accidentally hung up the phone, anyone know what is it regarding? It's an automated sound asking me to press 1 for englsh bla bla

means that need to go early lo.... how about other outlets? will be the same as well??

If I need to port in.. may I know the procedure? need to wait??

Hm according to the sales staff today, the outlet(johor bahru molek) didn't have any stock all morning and they only replenished their stock in the afternoon. As I was making my purchase the staff ask another staff something like "can still sell?" or something so maybe it is true that there is a limitation on how many they are selling per day.

Port in means changing your old sim card to the new one? If yes then it is immediately and foc as well, I can make calls right after but need to wait 24 hours before I can use the 3G

Can anyone help me out with the question below?

"Btw after I got my iphone4, there was a call from digi automated voice call saying something and I accidentally hung up the phone, anyone know what is it regarding? It's an automated sound asking me to press 1 for englsh bla bla"

Also not sure if I misheard, the staff says if the phone enters into an area with no 3G connectivity it may automatically switch to "Digitnet?" and the charges for Diginet will be costly (additional charges will be applied). If it's true, how do we set roaming of 3G to exclude Diginet? I don't want any surprises in my bill.
