Start bashing others? When? Because i said many owner Forte complained about their car?
I'm sure many Inspira user have complained about their car too. We can't please everyone.
But i'm sure both car prob is still controllable. It still not considerable as a problematic car.
Can you find me one car that don't have any complained from owner. I really want to see that.
Maybe i can start saving money to buy those perfect car brows.gif

Edit : Oh no you edit your post already. Tired huh mature man whistling.gif

haiyoo... malaysians right.. when they say they support malaysian made cars.. all is b*llshit actually.. its because we were born making us believe that we must support our local car.. indirectly.. this mindset already tanam inside ur brain as a memory..

everything is our G dirty doing.. if only they take away the tax implemented in foreign brandings.. then u guys can start to see that there are way more choices of cars ppl drive on the road..

and because they offer inspira at a price of <100k.. does that mean a little amount..? what if lancer gt itself got priced at the same..? <100k .. which one would u choose to buy..?

same case goes to forte.. they change the brand to local one then they offer u <100k car. of course if u put the badge become Kia then the price would hike up ma.. they don wan to let foreign brand beat their own local brand.

and this is what makes me sick.. thats why.. i dont support local brand anymore. i got support or no support.. our own G wont do us any good also wan la.. so why bother..?

u guys always keep bashing ownself but the real problem is the ROOT.

My verdict after having driven both cars?

Inspira offers a better driving experience than Forte. Better ride and handling. If you gunning for a spirited drive, buy the Inspira. Those beefy 16 inch Conti tires are really comfortable and absorbs all road imperfections.

On the other hand, Forte's steering feels light and the car doesn't feel planted to the road while speeding. I do like the shitload of gadgets though. The rear reverse camera is sweet and the gimmicky but somewhat cool start stop engine button.

Interior quality for Inspira feels cheap (hey, you get what you pay for) and the panels are poorly assembled. My dad's Inspira has little gaps along the panels and the right air con panel is slightly jutting out. Exterior door sealants are also misaligned. The interior door handles exhibit a hollow feel and squeaks when you squeeze them.

Forte's interior quality is better. Plastic feels somewhat more premium.

Power? Mivec with CVT gearbox is driving nirvana. Just whack the throttle when the light turns green and the Forte behind gets smoked and wets itself.

You obviously have not done enough research on fuel consumption of most cars. Talking to idiots like you is a waste of time. You are comparing a Turbo Diesel car to a NA Petrol car....bah...you won't know the difference anyway. biggrin.gif

Still wants to compare?? How about saving RM30k which can buy you a lot of fuels for many years!!! LOL.

What's so different?? it's still 2.0cc car, a C-segment....doesn't matter Hybrid, Turbo Diesel or NA Petrol or FI Petrol or NA Diesel, all of them still run on 2.0 engine with 4 wheels, spacious C-segment, looks as a proper car......it's still a 2.0L engine car, so wat's big deal abt T.Diesel, NA Petrol, FI Petrol, NA Diesel, Hybrid powered.....we're comparing 2.0L with 2.0L and car with car, we never said any types of cars, what powered them...when all of those need fuels...it can be RON92-99 and Diesel powered(those fuels came with the same petroleum right?? Petronas, Shell etc.)
unless you're comparing 2.0L car with 2.0L motorcycle(IF it ever existed) or others....

Added on August 26, 2011, 10:54 amyou wan the best conclusion for best FC among those classes we mentioned above for 2.0L car??
1st. Focus TDCI
2nd. Altis DVVTi
3rd. Nissan Sylphy
4th onwards, your own choices...

still 1 better?? get PRIUS n INSIGHT lor...
and u wan say say Diesel can't compare right?? I assume PRIUS n INSIGHT is still powered by Petrol?? and why is it better that Focus TDCI?? Think Matrix....

doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif
hybrid is better then diesel?
in terms of environmental friendly yes... hybrid has a lower carbon footprint...

real world FC wise, i dare say TDCI is slightly better
wink.gif
i dont think u have any idea how a hybrid car works...

case in point (in case you do not know, and i think you do not know).. do a search on a E90 4.4 V8 Petrol BMW M3 vs a toyota prius HYBRID in a sample fuel efficiency test...
no points for guessing which car has a better FC

accually i was pointing out....what if Hybrid cars with petrol tank EMPTY.....how can it run?? i knw Diesel as such model like 320d, CDi version of Merc are ...yes, better in FC....but contribute to environmental friendly, i still say Hybrid way to go...
the reason y i said PRIUS is better in term of FC, coz it only consume petrol from 'stop movement of the car to 50km/h....' beyond that ald uses electricity...while diesel powered vehicles still using diesel all the way...as like forever....yes, in term of petrol n diesel if fully utilized, diesel is better(and cheaper too, compare RM1.80 Diesel with RM1.90 RON95-lowest standard grade petrol)....so, if in term of long run...i would say PRIUS had better FC compare with any Diesel models...like in HW Cruise....how much you've to pay per trip from Malaysia-Thai(Perlis) to Malaysia-Singapore border(Johor) using PRIUS and TDCI/CDi/BMW Diesel powered series??

wink.gif

based on the bolded part... for how long can the battery last if u are driving above 50 km/h?
wink.gif

ford TDCI one full tank (50-55L) can get an average of 1000 km +- region
320d full tank can get you also close to 950 km +- per tank...
