Wow!! Finally v2!!!!

I have a question.... I am planning to root my legend.... If i root it and HTC releases Froyo for Android, can i just update OTA or i have to unroot it to update?

So basically if i root with custom rom, just use the update of the custom rom... But if i wish to update to the Stock Froyo provided by HTC, i will have to reflash my rom to HTC Sense Rom before i can run OTA? And where can i get back my stock sense rom? All i see on XDA are custom roms...

Sorry to ask so many question, after download that RUU... i just run it and it will do the rest??

PS: the modaco tutorial says bootloader version of 0.43.xxxx or below and a ROM version of 1.31.xxx.x but i have a software number of 2.05.707.1.... how? Can that work???

GPS i'm using brut plugin for google maps.... really really useful...

make your way down to this forum:

Then download the brut apk... and install it like any other APK u downloaded into your pc...

PS: Brut is not offline map... you need a connection to load the map... or either u can cache it before u go to the place...

Brut map is a plugin to enable google navigation in other part of the world that google has not released to yet... you just need to download 1 of it!

After downloading it, you will find a few new icons in ur drawer... *finds my phone to tell u the apps*

1. Latitude [brut] (don't know what this does coz i don't use it)
2. Maps [brut] (this is the map that has the navigation enable... so basically u will have one Maps and Maps [brut])
3. Navigation (this is the navigation app where Maps [brut] will use for the navigation *GPS*)
4. Places [brut] (this is a handy tool to search for close by shops and stuff)

Just install the APK has how you would install any other APK by using a file manager on ur phone *Astro?*

EDIT:

Since i'm also taking about this, here is a simple guide on how to use it.

1. Open Maps [Brut] (Don't open the one without brut, it doesn't work it navigation)
2. Search for where ever you want to go by clicking Menu -> Search or Search Button
3. Click the Navigation button (the second button with an arrow pointing right)
4. First input, leave it My Location or enter any other place u want
5. Click the Navigate link
6. Wait for it to load and your off to go! (remember you need to have internet connection on, GPS on and the view of the sky in order for it to work)

*Sometimes when it doesn't get the direction, click back and click navigate again*

How about putting whatsapp in ignore list in ur task manager?? Whatsapp works in the background and task manager will kill it..

Ya, 2.05 sms thingy is freaking annoying. Not just that there are more noticable bugs in 2.05 then 1.31....

as geminigeek said, if u use handcent, ntg much will harm u.... except if u have a large number of friends in Facebook then u'll be facing a problem of crashing friendstream... my friendstream never will open again until i restore it to factory...
