GSM ONLY means the phone will only use 2g data.

it will STILL transmit data unless you hold down power button and disable the data connection at all.

what i always do to disable data transmit is to dial *#*#4636#*#* -> menu button -> more -> disable data connection coz IMO i feel GSM is so old skool

Hmm, I guess your preference is still cooked rom...haha

I'm quite happy with the current JPO 7.6.2. Just hand itchy n wonder whether I should flash to a newer rom biggrin.gif

weird....my gps still doesn't seem to work...couldn't even detect my position with papago or google map...i used gps test to test..it could detect the satelite but could not lock...any idea how to solve?

the youtube in my sgs is the older version.. wanted to update it through appbrain by scanning the barcode BUT the file is not available??

The newer youtube not available in Malaysia, if you're rooted use market access to emulate US carrier then find on market

in 7.6.2 yes, but 8.0.1 is not latest, i guess Doc missed out something, but it can be updated in Market

Read in xda forum users do face some problems with 8.0.1
