Am existing user of standard Astro and now thinking of subscribing Astro Beyond by paying the extra RM20.00.
Would like to enquire if one has to pay additional charges to view One HD (Channel 393) and AXN Beyond (Channel 720). Thanks |

QUOTE(sKyWiR3pT3lTd @ Feb 27 2011, 08:49 AM) u're right..there was no M League matches last night..Astro has exclusive rights therefore their exclusive match is shown on Friday night..like 2 days ago when it was Kedah vs Kelantan Live..i guess this is Astro's marketing strategy that they show the matches on Friday night instead of Saturday and Sunday to avoid losing viewers to EPL matches..and it could also be that FAM inserted a clause that no Saturday matches is shown LIVE on TV to encourage fans to go to stadiums which could be a good move and also a bad one on Malaysian football as a whole.. |

Yesterday afternoon just subscribe to Astro Movies package as I want to watch Oscar in HD today morning 8:30AM
![]() Haha! now I just knew the HBO HD and Star Movie HD is showing the same show as SD channel with slightly delay on times and HD channel no subtitle while SD channel came with at least a malay subtitle.. The add-on channel is act fast, I think after I drop the call and put on standby around 15 mins, the channel already activate. Quality wise is ok but not brilliant as you seen BD. For my feel, I think at the moment the most clearance HD channel is 310 - ZhiZhun HD. I have all the HD channel now except Sport as I not subscribing any sport package. Hi all Astro B.yond sifu,
Wanna ask the image quality of SD channel using B.yond decoder(HDMI). My 1st gen Astro decoder using AV gives a shitty and blur image to my 42" Plasma My parents complained that even old CRT give better PQ.... So will the PQ improve a lot if using B.yond decoder to view SD channel? |

Hello...i previously the ASTRO MAX user..now i'm forced to upgrade the decoder to ASTRO PVR.
Interested to use the HDMI port to connect to my LCD tv, some how i got to know only for HD channel subscriber :-( Any chance i can enable the HDMI on the decoder? I don't want to upgrade to Byond since my condo is using the Master antenna and doesn't support Byond. no point paying extra RM20 but can't watch the HD channel. Please i just want to connect to my TV and using the HDMI port available.Just don't understand why Astro must locked this features even though we are not getting HD channel without subscribing. Pls pm me if anybony know the way. Tq. p/s: I've called Astro CS just to enable the HDMIport..The answer is NO WAY without subscribing the HD channel. |

hi guys, actually I am also looking at buying a HD Media player, but just can't understand why there is great price difference between those with and without wireless tranfer function from PC to media player.
For instance, I have got quotation from a supplier at this forum for: "Datage R1055(RM199) = Eaget M7 (Rm350)minus networking tat mean Datage not possible to do trnasfer file via wireless. for M7 u need to buy the wifi dongle so it can connect to router via wireless." Any comments from u guys will be helpful. |
