How astro first will be implement? We can watch it one time only or can repeat for whole day? Like cinema, we have to pay a everytime we want to watch. I think asstro first is VOD. Nothing big deal

With the Astro FIRST, now everyone is talking about it..and what has everyone 'seem' to have forgotten? Bloody hell astro lied about giving us the 15 HD channels last year..only 12 was given..and the rumours of the Mustika channels in HD from early 2011? I think whoever was the source for that report has mistaken it with astro First..

Expect astro to carry out this promotion of the product for months to come..and we will still be stuck with the crap channels we have right now..n who wants to bet that astro First is just a product that has just been creatde and finalised in the last couple of months? I bet that this product has come out due to astro cannot fulfilling their other commitments like more HD channels, IPTV, using the Ethernet port and so on..coz im sure Astro First has come out of the blue

p/s: Do not trust what Eric Chew says on FB too much..he is not an astro staff..but just like us here, a person who picks up information through the internet and forums and acts as if he is in the insider on FB..he has had a history of talking 'like he knows what new channels are coming, when, price and all'..and if atro screw up with him, suddenly he turns on them and insult astro like crazy..it might be true about his comments bout astro First but it's definitely originated from him..

Asstro is too powefull, one day they might buy RTM and be the national broadcaster,Asstro arena, asstro tutor,asstro kasih, asstro First......they hv conquered the sports , the schools , the remote Rakyat, wow this is business !

15 HD channels can be anything. If you guys really wants to get technical. They can say they have 188, the deepaavali channel, the Fiesta channel,. 5 HD channels for world cup, Thomas Cup dedicated channel for the finals and the have-to-come-or-the-Chinese-will-riot Chinese New Year HD channel. That is more than 15 channels already.

So what? Personally, I dont really care about HD channels other than sports and local contents as I have other sources 1080p sum more for Hollywood and US tv shows.

B- I do think astro can bring 15 HD channels..why would they be lying..? what kind of company would charge RM20 for HD service and promise 15HD channels? so thats y I am willing to pay RM20 for the service..

my answer is B..I for one, accept the fact astro has given more than 15HD channels..but one of the main reasons I subscribe was because of the number of channels astro promise..15HD channels would be worth the RM20..not saying that the current lineup is not worth it but 15 is better than 12..

For u. maybe u have the resources to get other sources for ur Hollywood movies and US TV shows..but is everyone as lucky as u? Thats the main point here..u might not feel tricked or lied to but others here, went to subscribe to astro because of their promises to provide more better services..it might not be as small a detail as 12 & 15 HD channels.. a difference of 3 but for some, a promise is a promise..of course not everyone is perfect to fulfill their promises..but in astro's case, sometimes, its more than one case of lies and promises..

thats just my opinion anyway..no pun intended to anyone k..

their SD channels has been blurred and applied terrible noise reduction filter... audio is like 64kbps web stream quality... what gives =/

Really astro just count Thomas Cup, Fiesta channel as promises HD channel? If you say like that, than astro can close all HD channel that their currently broadcast right now and say they already give 15 HD channel to us. Bro, temporary channel should not be count as fix channel.

Astro is a big company, and every public statement/promise that their told, than they must comply because it involve a million of subscriber and not only you, me and a next guys.

Because of this, people will not believe what ever their saying any more.

Whatever u call it do u think we hv another choice ? We are doomed to put up with this too strong Ass,it has full backing and an investment arm of the ruling party.We even notice even providers like AXN and HBO when they team with this ass they too hv no principles or standards.They do watever suits them provided its cheap and gives more profits.You can see how many international standard channels we have ? NONE ! Those who hv standards wont do business here.Our parliment and the court, well those are another FOX like ! By the way some say asstro First is for performing Arts/Culture so lets just wait another day.
