If they are going to fix the subtitle to the screen like TV2, OneHD etc, I am going to unsubscribe Byond.

I don't want to pay for subtitles to clutter up my screen. closed caption is OK for those who don't understand English.

Speaking of screen space, I hate it when the 'numbers' appear covering up part of the screen when I press 'pause' button. Sometimes I can't see the face after pressing 'pause'.

I think they should have put it on the far bottom and smaller. Poor design as I expected from astro staff.

Thanks for the response, i already submitted the application form to the SC, but I have to wait for 3 weeks for installation, they haven't called me for account verification yet after 48 hours, need to check with them again.

The reason I ask about the cost here is that I'm not sure if different vendor charge differently, like those air-cond vendors, the installation price can vary so much, apparently it's not, they charge RM 199 currently to get everything done.

TM IPTV already have VOD but not sure is it in HD and have subtitle or not.
BTW, if astro introduce VOD, than it only for PVR user right? because that VOD should be store on HDD.

Another complaint i have with that S One channel.
In between shows when they have the ads, the announcement is in chinese.
But yet there is no chinese or english subtittle available to choose.
This is pure crap !
Make the malay sub as closed caption.

Astro First is just a marketing gimmick from asstro.

Agreed ! Just give us the remaing HD channels as promised, we arent at all interested in In House\ channels anymore !

Ass-throw takes out the chinese language and replace it for BM.
What is the point to place BM in both language and subtitle?

Hey, thank god astro make it that way. Think before you comment. You have to consider the senior citizen here in Malaysia. My nenek can't read yet thanks for the BM dub, she can enjoy korean movie. Now her fav channel is one hd. Now that make me upset. No offence.

They only ask for closed caption sub title, why should you be upset.

I'm sorry, maybe I'm a little off-topic, but can you explain what is the different between "Subtitle" and "Closed caption"?
To my understand, "Closed caption" were designed for the deaf like displaying [the phone is ringing] or something like that?

With closed caption, the subscriber can disable the irritating BM subtitle from appearing. Also, Ass-throw should give more options like, maintain the dub mandarin language at One HD for chinese subscribers. Channel 393 = under the channel group of 300s where the main subscribers are chinese.

What the hell are you talking about? Is your nenek Malaysian or what? How come Malaysian can't understand Bahasa Malaysia? It's our bahasa kebangsaan is it? Now maybe you can ask the "president" of Astro to dub Mandarin for that.

It is a free channel. Same as KBS world. All Astro Byond user can enjoy it. Yes it is under ch300 group, it does not mean that it should be for chinese only. I'm sure all Malaysian can understand Bahasa Malaysia. But not all Malays can understand Mandarin language.

One HD audio should be in original Korean language because that is more natural than those fake dubbed language (look at 391 ). There is a small korean community living in Malaysia who understands Korean.

Subtitles should be in malay, english, chinese and should be selectable for non-koreans. There are many foreigners living in Malaysia that only knows English (eg. arabs, africans )

Maybe ass-throw wants to save money by not hiring english and chinese translators ?
