Canon doesn't have 18-105mm lens, it has 18-135mm lens.
Well, if you have the budget for 18-135mm, you should get that. Good for walkabout.

if budget allows...get d 18-135mm lens...
more worth to get it bundle wif d 550d body
range wise it is more convenient than 18-55 of course

- Canon 35mm f2.0
- Canon 28mm f1.8 USM
- Canon 35mm f1.4 L USM
- Sigma 28mm f1.8
- Tokina 35mm f2.8 Macro

Somehow I recommend Siggy 30mm f1.4

No such lens as Canon 25mm f2.0 la.

Buy buy buy!

Canon 24mm f1.4 L is different league already.

It depends. Most of the lenses are not that sharp at wide open unless you are willing to spend more on L primes.

Yea, you may get the 18-55mm first if you don't wish to splash that much of cash and upgrade later on and at the same time do consider Tammy 17-50mm f2.8 if you are planning to get Canon 18-135mm.
