Wut do u mean OC by mac?

Did u use putty or using the fiasco image?
Did fiasco method still can be used in n900?

Prev..i oso using the fiasco, but i think using the titan's kernel much more safer since it will back to stock speed when we reboot..huhu
*
Oh i meant, you know that you can overclock ur n900 using windows?
Yeah..
I tried with mac..
Instead of OC-ing, i flashed the kernel with the fiasco image.. I'm starting to get confused after that
the -F in the first line of flashing is for fiasco images which is for OC files
and i tried using -k and it flashed my firmware.. lol
Anyone having bluetooth problem like connecting to their laptop?

Who told you that?

PR 1.3 kernel don't have a major change from PR 1.2 kernel.Letho's method should still work.

its WEP..cracking WPA even with dictionaries will take ages. if you don't have the same password in the dictionary, it'll be almost impossible to crack WPA..

yes but injection only works on power-kernel v40..it's because of the backported compat wireless driver..currently i'm still on power v40..still waiting for the uboot to get stable so that i could switch between v40(for neopwn) and v45/v46(or whatever v for maemo)..then i'll have usb hostmode + working neopwn..

but currently i choose neopwn (v40-kernel)..as i still don't have the female-2-female adapter..so, usb hostmode needs to wait..till i figure out how to load/switch kernel between v40 an v45

so... i guess u wanna setup like this...

1) standard maemo kernel
2) v40 kernel-power
3) v46 kernel-power
4) NITdroid

Two independent working kernel power...Is it possible?
Because I think one kernel power will overwrite the another version.

quite close..but i'd rather replace the standard maemo kernel..it should look like this

1) maemo with v46
2) v40 kernel power

i could add more in the future..but non of the OSes are quite stable/lack of certain functions..so this could wait..i'm still aiming at the ubuntu 10.10 though the image is quite buggy..

Cracking with N900 still needs a lot work. One of the reason is the packet injection still not working properly. You may succeed once but you won't guaranteed the same result if you test it another time.
Better wait for full version of neopwn.

one big question ?

passive capture will work.

injection will work soon.

but how many clients will it pick up ?

you need a powerful device with a sensitive antenna to pickup as many clients as possible.

i dont think N900 is the device with the sensitive antenna...

unless i can hook up my ALFA 1000mw... using h-e-n and female-female usb socket, and tape the adapter to the back of my N900.

provided they have ARM drivers for that chipset, monitoring mode capable drivers to be specific...

now that is going to be one fugly device to bring out.

I was told there might be updated version on January next year...

@jananan
I tried to benchmark the Kingmax 8GB C10 few more times.
Still getting the around the same random write speed,1.1MB/S

I guess this card is very good to keep data but not that sure about running OS in it.

True on the need of the sensitive antenna part...

Maybe hooking up external antenna is the alternative solution(need to write own driver?).
It may be fugly but at the same time this can be good proof of concept.

Uuhh...Looks like N900 will end up as jack of all trades but master of none device.
