install a program named 'Leafpad' using AppManager/FAPman/apt-get first.

its a simple program that lets you edit text ala Notepad

open terminal xterm, type in these commands

sudo gainroot

cd /etc/systemui

leafpad systemui.xml

and edit the necessary lines.

change this part

< ! --
<menuitem priority="20" name="Reboot">
<return>6</return>
<po>osso-powerup-shutdown</po>
</menuitem>
<menuitem priority="10" name="Soft poweroff">

to look like this

<menuitem priority="20" name="Reboot">
<return>6</return>
<po>osso-powerup-shutdown</po>
</menuitem>
< ! --
<menuitem priority="10" name="Soft poweroff">

in other words, you are just deleting "< ! --" and typing it in a new place.

be wary, there is no space between < ! -- ,just that i cant type it here without space because the forum html thinks its bad command.

save & exit, reboot your N900.

I also can download.. but when i start pressing one of the buttons, is just pops out that error..
Why dont you try downloading any remote and click button and see..
If got no error stating *connection error to lirc* then you're ok

Wut do u mean OC by mac?

Did u use putty or using the fiasco image?
Did fiasco method still can be used in n900?

Prev..i oso using the fiasco, but i think using the titan's kernel much more safer since it will back to stock speed when we reboot..huhu
