/home is full. 2.0gb is not enough if I have all that super large games biggrin.gif

that is different .deb games and .ipk games. .deb game will install in 2GB space sharing with others software (/home). With .ipk u can choose any ext3 partation or MMC with ext3/ext4 partation. So all game running on mmc.

tq

Anyone tried backing up their old contacts from another phone and transfer it into the n900 in the form of .vcf file?

I'm using Sync (under setting). Then sync phone to phone.

tq

When I was browsing the app manager, I saw a software(not controller) for PS3. Anyone tried that?

Hi, would really appreciate anyone who can help me with these:

1) Is it possible to choose using only the contacts details from SIM card rather than having them copied in the phone's memory?

2) What is the difference between 2G and 3G network? Will they affect the battery usage?

3) My phone shows that the device memory is 27.22GB. Suppose to be 32GB right? Why is it showing like that?

No, u must copy them out =p

2) What is the difference between 2G and 3G network? Will they affect the battery usage?

3g is for usage of data , 2g is normal one. 3g uses more juice,2g use less juice.

3) My phone shows that the device memory is 27.22GB. Suppose to be 32GB right? Why is it showing like that?

27gb is for usage one. 2gb for app n the others for os.

Sorry but i can only your question number 3
Cause it isn't 100% efficient to produce 32gb memory yet.. So you know there will be lost in terms of memory

@Xiukeong
can you try this?
http://tomasz.sterna.tv/2010/02/play-games...xis-controller/
cause you seem to be the only one with PS3

1) If my memory serves me right u cant

2) GSM aka 2G, 2.5 (EDGE) and 3G. 3.5G aka UTMS if u surf the internet alot you need fast speed.

2G,2.5 GSM- drain less battery but slower speed
3G - UTMSdrain more battery but fast speed but also depend on your telco speed.
DUAL - auto connect depending which is available first priority 3G

3G - 384kbps
3.5G - up to 7.2 mbps depending on network availablity

3)a) the memory is also allocate for other stuff like your phone memory, external memory but total add up is 32GB
b) drop size in bytes due to the memory allocation .

Hope that helps
