And lonelywolf90, plzzz don't tempt me into doing something stupid, like forking over another few thousand RM for no reason, GT780DXR is toxic enough by itself already... 

Recently bought the barebone msi-1761 witch is the equivalent to gt780dx without dyna audio & backlit keyboard, i put intel core-i7 2720qm es, 120gb ssd & 8gb ddr3 ram, cost around rm5200++. The main downfall are only us warranty & rm450++ shipping cost to Malaysia. But this MSI notebook is so damn fast Next time i should buy the full one cause envy the dyna audio & steel series keyboard huhuhu.

Bought from ebay, frostycomputer, there was another company that offer cheaper barebone but only accept wire transfer only, afraid of fraud & scam. I bought the parts separately. Next time is a very long next time, because got scolded by my wife. Loaded....nope, actually i've got into a tragic accident a few years before witch made my right arm paralyzed & a weak body, so using my insurance money to buy this laptop. Besides that i've started a small computer shop, was hoping this laptop can attract a few customers to buy from me....huhuhu wish me the best of luck friends

Was thinking of adding intel 6300 because right now intel wireless n 130 + bluetooth, where u bought your 6300 wifi & why did u sold your msi gt780r? U changed to alienware or sager? Don't know which better, both rated 450mbps, but maybe for gaming bigfoot one better.

Read that the Bigfoot have lower ping and the major difference is the software that it can assign the internet speed to apps..

Another thing is, if ur pendrive has stuff in it, remove everything and just leave the driver inside. Else, try with another pendrive:P

for your question:
1) If i'm not wrong, yes single 750gb hard disk
2) Yes, there will an empty space for you to put in a new hard disk. But just in-case, better ask MSI-MY or sanko if you self-upgrade extra hard disk will void warranty or not.
3) For the bios interface, as mention above, you need to update/flash your bios in-order to get that. (QUESTION: I plan to upgrade SSD as well, but how to copy the stuff like recovery that is provided inside MSI original hard disk to the SSD? O.o and how to use the BurnRecovery tool hmm..)
4) As of now, i don't think anyone know as ivy bridge not even officially out yet right? But i have a feeling they are gonna come up with something great for the ivy-bridge future laptop (If I'm you, stop the waiting game, it will make life harder for u )
5) I can personally guarantee you there wont be performance throttling or overheat. And i would highly advise you to get third-party thermal paste for your cpu and gpu. As i recommend every1 here, get IC Diamond 7 or AC MX4
6) It's a notebook, don't go overboard with that right
7) Ok, for that MSI will bring it in by middle of nov. You can book one by pm-ing sanko

Correct, and i did feel the bottleneck to be honest. When i test the GT780R. I need to put the DotA files in SSD drive, if not, it will lag if placed in HDD.
