i've noticed soemthing. whenever i 'backspace' with nothing left to delete when im typing, it makes a loud beep noise. how do i fix this? its so annoying.

loud deep noise? like a "ting"? O_O..if its tat sound..itz normal..itz microsoft de..else..i have no idea..btw dual boot wid linux ubuntu now! love the speed of ubuntu..hahah

still waiting on my gx660..from gentechpc..looking at the first page..there's no gx660 in the list..only the R version..you disappoint me viruz
wat to do..budget was tight..otherwise i would just go with the R version..but i guess i ll win with FPS with my 720p screen

got one question actually..the only thing I upgraded was IC Diamond thermal compound..any obvious different between the stock one and this IC Diamond thing..in term of temperature for idle and full load..in case any of u guys..some did upgrade and some maybe didn't..any info on this wud be much appreciated..

ooo..sorry my bad! haha..goin to update the post now ..when will it arrive? and the IC Diamond thermal paste..makes BIG difference..based on reviews can reduce up to 1x degree celcius of heat .. dono hw good stock paste performs..but with the IC Diamond thermal..i ran 3d rendering for 2 days straight and the highest temp i get is 88degrees on HWmonitor which i bliv is good

which one is gameable? i think the highest GPU is GTX425M. and your series are physically fierce compare to those!

i did ask justin@xotic and ken@gentechpc which one they prefer between g53jw and gx660R..eventhough mine not the R version i did ask for their real honest answer fyi..they said easily they would choose this one.. no offense to asus g series fan though..i really adore the design of g53jw to be frank..in fact g53jw was my first choice

i was planning to get the g73 previously..then it was sold out..so i made up my mind n get this..the very first thing u must try when u get the laptop is not installing games or sumthing..is to enjoy the speaker 1st ..make sure u pluck out the plastic tat is blocking the speaker..it's bad for it..i haven try black ops on my laptop..been using it on my pc only

btw guys, did u remove all the "plastic protector" that is wrap on the laptop? such as the backlid, the lcd outer later, the lcd, the touch sensitive surface and the power button.

i only removed the touch sensitive area..no idea where i can find a screen protector for our laptop..the screen..seems wider than normal 15"

Hi JC..you can get the GX660r from gentechPC..it's much much better IMO..since all of us get it there..find Ken Lee..

btw, when u purchase from Gentech, you can opt for normal dvd drive..that's wat almost all of us do..then with that extra money, we use it for the IC Diamond thermal paste upgrade..which is really worth it
