does GX660r comes with Blurray drive? the ones i saw in Amazon.com all includes blueray drive..

is there a gx660r with full hd but just normal dvd drive?

if i'm buying direct from the states (friend coming back), how am i suppose to claim the warranty? viewed MSI USA but not much info..

Does it come with 2 yrs limited(USA only), or 1 yr global ?
If i buy it via amazon.com and send it to my friend's place, the warranty will still be with MSI right?

I just got my GT60!
I;ve replaced my optical drive with a caddy bay. i intend to install ssd on my first hdd slot, and put the original hdd to the caddy bay. (slot 1 is sata3 if im not mistaken)


Question :
how do i move the recovery portion in the current hdd to my ssd? or is it easier just to burn out the recovery disc?

you can go to MSI US's website and download the required drivers etc based on ur model. Ur barebone is based on GT60?

guys I want to DIY to replace my slot 1 HDD with SSD. May I know which is slot 1? Is it next to the battery (to the right of batt) or above the battery?

It shouldnt be a problem if i put that HDD in my optical drive bay right?

did u burn a recovery disc and install it on ur ssd or do u install fresh windows 7 without MSI's software?

yep i figured out by removing each hdd..the primary slot is the one above battery..laptop now running smooth with ssd
