here it comes another gx660 future user but not r version brows.gif

hopefully by next week..at first I chose g53jw but after I heard that i am like the 500th customer on the waiting list..straight away canceled it..he said the fastest i could get in the month of January..but its still depending on the stock though..after many reviews I read about this model..i decided to go for it..again hopefully i will not regret this laugh.gif

but the sound I heard is unbeatable..so far at the moment..in gaming notebook industry..which was the main factor I chose this..any true guys?

ooo..sorry my bad! haha..goin to update the post now biggrin.gif..when will it arrive? and the IC Diamond thermal paste..makes BIG difference..based on reviews can reduce up to 1x degree celcius of heat tongue.gif.. dono hw good stock paste performs..but with the IC Diamond thermal..i ran 3d rendering for 2 days straight and the highest temp i get is 88degrees on HWmonitor which i bliv is good tongue.gif

referring to ken..it will be shipped tomorrow..so probably the earliest I would get it is next week..hopefully i will receive it safe n sound..wow 88 degrees with 2 days straight of 3d rendering is quite excellent.. drool.gif

the first thing I would do is to get black ops installed on this beast.. rclxm9.gif
dynaudio totally ftw.. i have no doubt about that whistling.gif

i did ask justin@xotic and ken@gentechpc which one they prefer between g53jw and gx660R..eventhough mine not the R version laugh.gif i did ask for their real honest answer fyi..they said easily they would choose this one.. notworthy.gif no offense to asus g series fan though..i really adore the design of g53jw to be frank..in fact g53jw was my first choice icon_rolleyes.gif

Lol. I fall into the "get weird stuff frequently" group though, once in a blue moon (often when I get stressed out over something). Understandably my finances go haywire during these "retail therapy" periods.

Maybe it's just that. Stress management. Not the right kind but stress management nonetheless.

BTW, I'm in need of an "psuedo-audiophile acceptable" gaming headset right about now. Main target is the Skullcandy SLYR (which is supposedly QUITE GOOD for something coming from the Skullcandy) but it's not available locally.

Now trying to get the Asus ROG Vulcan, as it supposedly holds it's own against the AKG 701. I really don't need the noise canceling but detachable wires and affordability look mighty nice for something below RM400 new.

Will you consider audiophile level headphone with wide headstage? A few of them are highly praised for gaming like Audio Technica AD-700, and of course for music listening as well.
