On paper wise if i'm not mistaken LG has the upper hand in OLED screen (although Sony is catching up real fast)

If I'm not mistaken though, Sony seems to have the better motion handling (due to their X Reality TV chipset)

Best you go to a shop that have both unit in display (a big Harvey Norman usually will have it) and eyeball both unit. Bring some video sample.

For KS series, it seems (from talk and rumours at AVS forum) , the previous Fw 1180.5 already had HDR10+ implementations.

Rumor but no confirmation as Amazon Prime has yet to deliver on HDR10+

My Number 1 Wishlist still remains for Game Mode HDR/SDR profile.

No problem on KS7000.

Maybe you can try reset Smart Hub.

The Tick already hdr10+.

Reset Smart Hub few time. Also reset TV to factory reset also not helping..

i check on samsung malaysia latest firmware is 1180.5. anyone already update..?

Try this

1. Intentionally crash the Youtube App. When open app, PRESS and HOLD the RETURN button (until it go to black screen with a loading icon)

2. Turn off Power Plug for at least 10 minutes to power cycle away the memory.

3. Update firmware.

ku6000 or mu6100 is there any difference in picture quality?

Using samsung mu6100 and having problem to load Iflix movies page.
I get an error saying "This is embarassing, we are sorry"

Other section Home, TV, etc working fine.
I have checked the firmware and is up to date.

Anyone experience same problem and pls suggest solution. Thx

I'm on that firmware now. It still happen from time to time.

Only solution is to cut power and on again.

Sorry for this noob question. I recently bought a samsung tv on Lazada. Do i need to register the product online or by mail in order to 'activate' the warranty? Or does the warranty automatically activate based on the invoice date?

Really depends on seller. If warranty is truly Samsung Malaysia, then don't really have to register cuz they'll go by invoice/delivery date. Doesn't hurt to register just in case.

Aeon is having promo for Samsung mu6100 55' at RM3399 with RM310 voucher. Is this a good deal? I know lazada price can be much cheaper but a little skeptical on the warranty and prefer to pre inspect the unit before getting it shipped over.

Yes in Lazada, quite a number of shops sell it below RM3K. For this AEON offer, it is not good deal even indirectly it is discount but you almost full but redeem the AEON cash voucher on other products later. Sometime cash voucher only valid for 2 weeks depend on what promotion. Therefore, it is better go others electric shops to look for it if scare to buy online. Many shops even can nego the price on spot.

You get what you pay for. If you are into HDR, look for other model. MU6100 is an entry level 4K TV.

AVSForum is filled with rumors about Seperate HDR/SDR profile setting for Game Mode in QLED TV / 2016 SUHD models.

Supposedly 27th Nov roll out, however we probably need to wait until next year or some crap if it happen LOL

what differ between KU6000 and MU6100,
