Hehehehehe....same as my hubby...but i don't care
I bought this nursing shawl from babybump maternity...so can cover when i bf.. I used to bring out the bm in bottle too..then i malas lar...why need to carry all these when you just need your boobs Alternatively, go to shopping malls that have nursing rooms - the curve, Isetan KLCC & Gardens, Jusco, 1Utama... for breastfeeding in public..it takes awhile for you to get used to..i only got used to it about few months back..after i bought the nursing shawl..should have bought it earlier This post has been edited by phythia79: Jan 13 2011, 04:12 PM |

Hi guys. My baby is one month old and she is taking about 70% BM and the rest are fm.
Was wondering whether taking cold or icy drinks would result in baby getting stomach upset and gassy? CL said it would and ask me to stop my ice and cold drinks intake. FYI, I am latching her in nice a day and the rest are ebm/fm in a bottle. Could it be her bottle? |

QUOTE(sbux @ Jan 13 2011, 11:35 PM) Hi guys. My baby is one month old and she is taking about 70% BM and the rest are fm. Hi sbux....from my experience, cold or icy drinks doesn't get my son upset tummy or gassy..but it was mostly from the food that i ate..so I was very careful in what i ate. It's all about trial and error..as alll babies are different. However, the one thing that you should stay away from is cabbage. Cabbage is a big no no for bf..it can reduce your milk and can give baby tummy upset or gas.Was wondering whether taking cold or icy drinks would result in baby getting stomach upset and gassy? CL said it would and ask me to stop my ice and cold drinks intake. FYI, I am latching her in nice a day and the rest are ebm/fm in a bottle. Could it be her bottle? It could be the bottle too..or probably the fm as maybe your baby is not used to that brand or..lactose intolerant. at this age.. of 1 month plus..it's all about trial and error as baby's digestive system is still adjusting. Do you put some ointment on his tummy? I used to put it on my son's tummy..every time after his bath..i dunno the name..but you can find it in most pharmacy..it's chinese ointment..i'll try to take a photo later at home and post it here. Added on January 14, 2011, 9:52 amsbux...you can cut out the cold icy drinks and see if the problem still persists... This post has been edited by phythia79: Jan 14 2011, 09:52 AM |

Hehehe...I trained my son to sit in car seat so that i can go out with him on my own..but nowadays..ever since he started walking..i seldom go..coz very tiring lar...he wanna walk here and there..don't like stroller..don't want to hold hands..so now i ended up buying the leash or 'safety harness' so that I can still 'hold' him.
I used to have a normal shawl but ever since my son can pull it out...i decided to invest in the nursing poncho. It's bigger than normal shawl with buttons on the side..I'll take a photo of me nursing my son using it.. ![]() Yes..yess..the yu yee oil...i use it diligently when my son was younger..and touchwood..ok oh another thing..when breastfeeding for the first 6 months..it's very important that we mommies..eat on time and not skip meal as this will indirectly give baby gas..as i experienced once that i didn't eat on time and well (just bread), son had very bad tummy upset..dunno if it's a coincidence or not. Luckily my sister-in-law's mother-in-law helped to urut my son's tummy and took out the wind and reminded me that I have to eat properly. Yes..maybe you a little sad or shock with the news of someone's death..just try to relax and drink more water...don't think so much about it. Heheheh...ever since i started breastfeeding..i always look for nursing rooms..and then compare which has the best |

OOh...you in JB kah? Hehehe...if always go jusco..sian lar..
don't skip pumping too yeah..coz if you skip..it signals your body that you need less milk..then..reduce lor. try lookign at your son's photo..it helps rather than thinking ...sometimes if i rushign also can't pump a lot.. maybe you need to invest in another freezer..kekeekekek. 1 pumping session..how long do you take? do you try to get multiple letdown |
