Just profit thinning, well I'm actually waiting for Q announcement for most of the stocks, hopefully there is bonus issue, then will be like strike lottery.Added on October 28, 2010, 12:01 pm QUOTE(kuluuluk @ Oct 28 2010, 11:58 AM) must let bstead rest a bit wat... keep pushing n pusing... later total breakdown... like... makelove ma I thought can keep pushing to RM7, but now Like roller coaster only. QUOTE(Myoswee @ Oct 28 2010, 12:15 PM) Bonus issue is like changing one RM 10 note to two RM 5 note. i think because of few reasons: Dun know why people see BONUS then so happy and start goreng it. 1. like u said, BONUS sounds attractive 2. price lower, make people feel that the price got more room to grow 3.The share become more penny and easy to make up fake volume by those pakar goreng |

QUOTE(harry1125 @ Oct 28 2010, 12:35 PM) i think because of few reasons: On top of that, since the share price is lower, the moving step becomes more aggressive(higher risk). Look at the top gainers/losers %, mostly are penny stocks. 1. like u said, BONUS sounds attractive 2. price lower, make people feel that the price got more room to grow 3.The share become more penny and easy to make up fake volume by those pakar goreng |

Dun want to make the same mistake as my MRCB. Sold after the rights issue for RM1.48 for 10% gain. Now its RM2.05. my greedy part said to keep.. but my Fear part said to sell.. who will win?? Maybe sell half to satisfy both greedy/fear part |

QUOTE(Myoswee @ Oct 28 2010, 12:15 PM) Bonus issue is like changing one RM 10 note to two RM 5 note. The real reason is because power of compounding gain. A fundamental sound stocks, once given bonus issue will still continue to move up. A lot of examples but I will not listed here. Definitely not for KFC frying purposes and contra players are not encourage to do this will backfired badly to the contra players.Dun know why people see BONUS then so happy and start goreng it. |

Sell or not sell question, is 100% more difficult than buy or not buy question.
My thinking is, as now reach your satisfying TP, just set yourself a tight tight cut loss point, say 3%. If falls 3% from now, sell. However, if you don't mind for a long term play(which i doubt as the way your anxiety shows |

Shares of Dow Chemical Co., Eastman Kodak Co. and Motorola Inc. all rose after the companies earnings beat analysts' expectations. Overseas markets had rallied after strong results from pharmaceutical companies Bayer AG and Sanofi-Aventis SA as well as automaker Hyundai Motor Co.
ExxonMobil Corp. shares rose even though it missed forecasts, while 3M Co. beat forecasts but saw its shares drop in pre-opening trading. where can i can exxonMobil Corp's report? |

Exxon Mobil Corp.'s (XOM) third-quarter earnings rose a bigger-than-expected 55% as the oil giant benefited from stronger commodities prices and refining margins in the first full quarter that includes its June acquisition of natural-gas producer XTO Energy.
Shares were up 0.8% at $66.20 in recent premarket trading. The stock was down 11% this past year through Wednesday. Exxon Mobil, the world's biggest oil company not under state control, now is also the largest U.S. natural-gas producer since the XTO purchase. The industry continues to see a rebound in demand from weak levels during the recession and improving refining margins. ConocoPhillips's (COP) said Wednesday its third-quarter profit more than tripled. Exxon reported a profit of $7.35 billion, or $1.44 a share, up from $4.73 billion, or 98 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue rose 16% to $95.3 billion. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters most recently forecast earnings of $1.38 on revenue of $98.12 billion. Earnings at Exxon's oil-and-gas production segment increased 36% to $5.47 billion as oil-equivalent production grew more than 20%, driven by activity in Qatar and its XTO acquisition. Its refining and marketing profit more than tripled on mostly higher refining margins. Will this add more power to msia's O&G engine tomolo? This post has been edited by Jtic: Oct 28 2010, 09:34 PM |

Royal Dutch Shell PLC, Europe's largest oil company, reported third quarter net profit rose 6.5 percent as increasing production and a rise in oil prices more than offset one-time charges at its refining arm and Canadian operations.
Net profit of $3.46 billion was up from $3.25 billion in the third quarter of 2009. Revenues rose to $90.7 billion from $75 billion, the company said Thursday. "Our results have rebounded substantially from year-ago levels, with improved earnings and cash flow, underpinned by a 5 percent increase in oil and gas production," said Chief Executive Peter Voser in a statement. "This is a better performance from Shell, achieved despite continued difficult industry conditions in refining and natural gas markets." Shell took net charges of $1.41 billion for several items including impairments on the value of its refining operations and on the value of its Canadian operations, which extract heavy oil from tar sands, a nontraditional source. The net charge compares with net gains of $371 million in the third quarter a year ago. Shell said that stripping out one-off items in both years, earnings would have risen 88 percent to $4.93 billion from $2.62 billion. |

Goodyear loses $20M in 3Q amid rubber price hikes
Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., hurt by spiraling rubber expenses, reported a $20 million third-quarter loss Thursday [b]despite solid sales increases. The Akron, Ohio-based company, the biggest U.S. tire maker and third largest globally, said the loss amounted to 8 cents per share. In last year's August-September period, Goodyear earned $72 million, or 30 cents per share. Excluding write-offs and other charges, the company said it would have earned 13 cents a share. Analysts expected a 10-cent a share profit, excluding charges. Revenue rose 13 percent to $5 billion, and the number of tires sold rose 6 percent. The bright sales picture was blunted by raw material costs, up $381 million for the quarter. Goodyear said natural rubber costs have skyrocketed threefold since early 2009. About half its rubber supply is natural, and half synthetic. This post has been edited by Jtic: Oct 28 2010, 10:04 PM |

If you guys are watching Dow, it is all about the USD.
Just watch US Fed action to determine where it will go. So simple and easy. Even GS advises its clients to front run the Fed. They publish the days when they're buying treasuries (printing money). But,... difficult to gauge FBMKLCI (not a true rep of all stocks listed on KLSE) unless you're playing commodities related counters that has strong relation to USD. Now, just continue to sell those counters that correlate to USD. Malaysia exporters are hurting big time with rising Ringgit and lowering USD. Sell 'em because next quarter your portfolio will hurt big time. IMO, not a bottom yet. |

KSeng had rallied strongly over the past one year. The main reason for this rally was various articles or reports that valued KSeng at RM17.00 or more. One such article is "Time for Keck Seng's value to emerge" which appear in the March 8 issue of the Edge newsletter. Since the publication of that article, KSeng has ceased to rise & instead it has been consolidating in an "ascending triangle" . Yesterday, it went to an intra-day high of RM6.15 but closed at RM6.09- just shy off the upside breakout level of RM6.10. This morning, Kseng again went above the RM6.10 breakout level- going as high as RM6.14 before pulling back to the present price of RM6.09 (as at 10.40am). KSeng's yesterday move was on big volume but the volume has dwindled substantially. If KSeng can break above the RM6.10 level, it could rally significantly in a technical 'blue sky' scenario. KSeng's share price could potentially go as high as RM10.00-20.00. This target is arrived at by adding the trading range (A) to the breakout point (RM6.10). If we based on a logarithmic chart, the target price could be about RM15.00-20.00 (such as the one below). If we used a linear chart, the target price is about RM9.70-10.00. http://nexttrade.blogspot.com/2010/10/ksen...h-breakout.html QUOTE Time for Keck Seng’s value to emerge Written by Yong Yen Nie Monday, 08 March 2010 00:00 Keck Seng (Malaysia) Bhd, a low-profile oil palm planter and property developer, may be ripe for a higher dividend payout given that its reserves have been building up, analysts say. Keck Seng is a cash and assets-rich company. As at Dec 31, 2009, the group was sitting on a cash pile of RM332.6 million with zero gearing. Its reserves stood at RM951.9 million as at Dec 31, made up mostly of retained earnings. It also had high unutilised tax credit of RM427.6 million to be franked as dividends before end-2013. However, executive director Lee Hwee Leng says the group has accumulated a huge cash pile for several years now, as it is waiting for acquisition opportunities. “Given the uncertainty in the global economy last year, we wanted to wait for the right time before we embark on acquisitions of properties and land,” she tells The Edge in a rare telephone interview. Nevertheless, Lee declines to reveal if Keck Seng will make any acquisitions this year. She says that as Keck Seng has until 2013 to utilise its tax credits, the group is not in a hurry to unlock the dividend income to its shareholders. Analysts believe Keck Seng’s real value may begin to emerge from this financial year onwards, thanks to the compulsory disclosures of the market value of its financial assets beginning this year. Keck Seng, which has a sizeable share investment portfolio, benefited strongly from the improvement in global equity markets with income from share investments increasing 62.3% q-o-q to RM37.8 million from RM23.3 million in 4QFY2009. But there may be more to come. Under the Financial Reporting Standard 139 (FRS 139) that has been effective since Jan 1 this year, public-listed companies are required to fair value their equity investments and reflect unrealised gains or losses in quarterly financial statements. A glance at Keck Seng’s 4QFY2009 notes accompanying its financial results show that although the total book value of its quoted securities is RM245.4 million, the market value as at Dec 31, 2009, stood at RM672.7 million. This translates to 2.74 times surplus over its book value, or an increase in net assets of RM1.78 per share. However, up to FY2009, the market value was only disclosed as part of the notes to accounts and not reflected yet in its net asset value. It is learnt that Keck Seng has interests in various local and foreign companies, including a 3% stake in Singapore’s Parkways Holdings Ltd, a 0.4% stake in PPB Group Bhd, a 3.04% stake in Chin Teck Plantations Bhd and a 1.1% stake in Shangri-La (Hong Kong) Ltd. Keck Seng is not required to disclose its interests in companies if its shareholding is below 5%. An analyst says that based on calculations that incorporate the market value of share investments, Keck Seng’s NAV per share will balloon to RM6.76 from RM4.98 currently. The stock closed at RM4.14 last Thursday, below its NAV per share. Keck Seng’s Lee says the group’s NAV will reflect the fair value of its share investments in the 1QFY2010 financial results, which will be announced in May. She says the impact will depend on the classification of its share investments, which the group’s auditors are still working on. Should Keck Seng’s share investments be classified under “held for trading”, the unrealised gains or losses on the investments will be reflected in its income statement. But if they are held under the available-for-sale portfolio, it will impact the group’s balance sheet. Lee declines to comment on the classification of the company’s share investments, but says they are held for the long term. However, an analyst says that whether or not the quoted securities are parked under “held for trading” or “available for sale”, the impact will be reflected in Keck Seng’s net assets. Additionally, the new estimated NAV does not take into account the market value of Keck Seng’s investment properties and landbank. “We may only revalue some of the landbank in the first quarter, hence the impact on the NAV may not be as significant,” Lee says, reflecting on the group’s conservative outlook. Keck Seng is still using the cost method to value its landbank and properties, but when the land is developed, the group will have to fair value the land to market prices. According to its FY2008 annual report, the group’s land for agriculture and housing development, with various parcels in Johor, have not been revalued since 1980. The book value of the land stood at RM147.7 million as at Dec 31, 2008, but conservative estimates show that the parcels of land could be valued at more than RM2.46 billion, representing a surplus of RM2.3 billion, an analyst says. Based on estimates and recent transactions, should Keck Seng’s entire landbank, properties and equity investments be revalued, it can lead to a revised NAV per share of RM17.10, or an absolute amount of RM4 billion — a far cry from the RM4.98 as at Dec 31, 2009, she notes However, few take note of Keck Seng’s strong balance sheet, as it is not required to revalue its properties and landbanks according to market value unless it plans to sell or develop them. “Keck Seng has not unlocked the value of its assets, hence it does not create the excitement that it ought to among investors,” an analyst says. Another analyst says the group’s dividend payout is also not impressive, given that the payout ratio for the past three years range from 25% to 30% of net profit. Keck Seng could still generate excitement this year, especially as the time to unlock potential draws near. http://www.theedgemalaysia.com/component/c...cle/162782.html This post has been edited by monkeyking: Oct 29 2010, 02:04 AM |

QUOTE(SuperToi @ Oct 29 2010, 03:27 AM) Now it is the time to do some " trading buy" bcos many investors would lock in the profit just before the GE.Unless you are certain that BN could win by 2/3 majority. Plantation stocks could be a good " trading buy" since many are expected to produce good results in coming Qs. The export prices are always quoted in RM ( correct me if I am wrong ) , i.e lesser impact on currency if their managements do the currency hedging (payments/billed in US $ converted from rm ) , meaning you get back the same amount in RM, if you do not like the up and down of US $ . QUOTE(GregPG01 @ Oct 29 2010, 07:22 AM) lol . Yeah --> Trading Buy: Share price may exceed 15% over the next 3 months, however longer-term outlook remains uncertain. The thing nowaday is, IF you are very certain, stocks shoot to sky high., so you buy with high PE, aka a price to pay for.Plantations could be the ones. QUOTE(teehk_tee @ Oct 29 2010, 09:33 AM) all the tin mining stocks are on steroids at the moment.. even the ones that are bleeding cash. Last time when i key in the numbers in the calculators, I was like my knowledge of hwgb is that they used to have a lot of problems trying to manage their cashflow. .. |

Subject: Marina Bay Sands 3QFY10 results and implication to Resorts World at Sentosa
Please see below Keith’s take on how the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) 3QFY10 results announced yesterday indicates that consensus estimates on Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) is still on the low side. Basically: 1) MBS daily gross gaming revenue of SGD5.9m pales in comparison to RWS’ SGD9.2m 2) MBS EBIDTA margins of 49.7% mean that even with junket operations starting at RWS, RWS’ EBITDA margins should come to 45 to 46%, above consensus’ 44% 3) Currently we estimate the market as being 60% RWS, 40% MBS. Even if this normalizes to 55% RWS and 45% MBS, RWS’ gross gaming revenue in 3Q should come to SGD7.3m, above consensus forecast of SGD7m So we think there is room for upgrades among consensus. Maintain Buy on Genting Singapore with fair value at SGD2.65. Judging from Marina Bay Sands (MBS) 3QFY10 results and assuming a 40%: 60% market share between MBS and Resorts World at Sentosa (RWS) we believe that the Singapore’s gaming market is on track of achieving an estimated USD3.8bn in gross gaming market size for 2010. Key points from MBS results and implications to RWS:- · Market share could still swing in RWS favor. MBS daily gross gaming revenue on a normalized luck factor came in at SGD5.9m but would be higher at SGD6.3m if we normalize its VIP luck factor to 2.85% (vs actual 2.65%). In comparison, RWS registered normalized daily gross gaming revenue of SGD9.2m in 2QFY10 and SGD8.5m in 1QFY10. · VIP revenue continues to dominate. VIP revenue was strong representing 63% of total gross gaming revenue despite below theoretical win rates · Mass market 40% of total gross gaming revenue. Mass market win percentage at 22.1% was slightly higher than 2QFY10’s 21.5% · Upside in EBITDA margin estimates. MBS EBITDA margins at 49.7% even with below theoretical luck factor from its VIP segment reaffirms our view that there should not be an issue for RWS to sustain EBITDA margins run rates at 50% to 53% on a normalized luck factor and commencement of junket operations would only dilute margins to 45% to 46% vs consensus current EBITDA margin estimates of 44% (ex-junket operations), providing further earnings upgrades. · On track of hitting USD3.8bn market size for 2010. Assuming if RWS is able to maintain a 60% market share in 3QCY10, this would equate to an annualized gross gaming market size of close to USD3.8bn for Singapore in 2010 and also implies that RWS would be able to maintain a normalized daily gross gaming revenue of SGD9.3m in 3QCY10. If market size normalizes to 55%:45% between RWS and MBS, this would imply that RWS normalized daily Gross gaming revenue in 3QCY10 could moderate to SGD7.3m, which is still marginally above the street estimates of SGD7m. We are maintaining our BUY recommendation and TP of SGD2.65 for Genting Singapore (GENS SP), which we are expecting results to be out by mid November. |

QUOTE Mortgage cap decision soon Bank Negara Malaysia may make it harder for Malaysians to buy more than two houses as it seeks to stem speculative buying that is pushing up property prices. Sources said the central bank would be meeting with banks next week to discuss plans for a mortgage cap whereby loans would be limited to a portion of the property value. "The expectation is a cap of about 70%-80%. We think a directive will be issued to cap," said two sources with knowledge of the meeting. Earlier, Bank Negara Malaysia governor Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz said it was prepared to take pre-emptive action and that it has wide-ranging instruments to prevent a property bubble. "We want to promote house ownership, but we want it to be done in an orderly manner and we don’t want speculative activities," she told reporters on the sidelines of the Global Islamic Finance Forum in Kuala Lumpur yesterday. For those interested to find out more on the outstanding litigations of MEGB,the list can be found under the prospectus,page367,section 19.6.
I am referring to the hard copy ,the soft copy in Bursa website at the link I provided earlier seems broken and can't be viewed. There's five cases listed,MEGB is being sued in some cases as well as suing others. Sorry that I am not able to do a summary, too much work for a lazy guy like me. |

My wife say don't know indian style accounting (no offence yeah, 1 malaysia yeah). 3) There is a ang moh fund that holds about 9-10% that is starting to dispose it I think. 4) Chart damn bearist. Stock going 52 weeks low when index is gonna test all time high. Then sold 3.20 at small lost. Good luck punters. |

CIMB Niaga booked a consolidated net profit (unaudited) of
Rp1,79 trillion in the first nine months ending September 30, 2010, 56% higher that the figure reported for the same period last year which stood at Rp1,15 trillion. The profit increased as operating income went higher and allowance lower following improvement of the quality of the company’s assets. Expect a sterling result from CIMB group... |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Oct 29 2010, 04:04 PM) You mean both haven't received the dividend until now? According to Mospter, Apex by cheque. This one I will call registrar. If so, then better check when register time, they key in the right account no. Another forumer said DRBHCOM he received through bank. I have received 2 divvies through direct credit, so my account number is correct. High probability is the staff one paying divvy keyed one digit different without checking the name and pay to someone else. And all monies credited just have a sentence "SVG GIRO CR'. Cant they have a proper narration? This post has been edited by protonw: Oct 29 2010, 04:17 PM |

And all monies credited just have a sentence "SVG GIRO CR'. Cant they have a proper narration? For Giro name display, it is banks way of display, not the company registrar or Bursa CDS system fault. If have a few counters paying same time, and same amount, then has some trouble then to verify which is which. Especially reit, almost pay roughly the same time one. |

What I got for Apex is Sectrar services,
Singapore's e-dividend is very specific, the bank statement clearly specifies the name of the company that pays the dividend. |

IOI expects CPO price to reach RM3.4K
http://www.btimes.com.my/Current_News/BTIM...icle/index_html IOI Corporation Bhd expects the crude palm oil (CPO) price to reach the RM3,400 level by the first quarter of next year, according to its Executive Chairman, Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng. He said the CPO price is likely to trend higher if the La Nina condition continues. "The RM3,00 level now does not take the weather into consideration. If you did, then, the RM3,300-RM3,400 level is not a dream but a reality," he told reporters after the company's annual general meeting in Putrajaya today. QUOTE(lklatmy @ Oct 29 2010, 05:00 PM) Here the fault lies with the company not wanting to go e-dividend,not the Registrar, and Bursa did not step it's feet down . Set a rule, no implement e-div, PN17. We have seen Bursa keep on saying retailers are not participating enough in this market, if this trivia issue also cannot be ironed out smoothly, how can people have confidence about the market. We buy stock in share market, and hoping to get a piece of profit through dividend. We shouldn't be the one worry about whether the dividend cheque will arrive or not. You don't create problem for the shareholders, you want them to enjoy the profit/dividend. It is same with privatisation offer, a 50K or 100K cheque being sent through snail mail, how can like that. There are cheque theft case as well. My company sent a cheque (5 digit), to the vendor, years ago. The vendor complaninig not receiving the cheque, 1-2 week later, received call from bank, said there is one bounced cheque due to alteration, go to check, it is the cheque send to xyz vendor, but the cheque payee name don't know how it is completely being erased and change to abc, a person name. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Oct 29 2010, 05:09 PM) There are cheque theft case as well. Yeah, we had few of this cases too. First we use Cheque printer (can be altered) so change to perm ink pan. Also had the same case. I tried test alot of chemicals on the ink n cheque...., failed to erase or altered the inki.... QUOTE(smartly @ Oct 29 2010, 05:06 PM) exactly !! can forget about the cheque in that case. Eh, my dividend is in hundreds, so must get back, can buy a lot of KFC. unless the amount is significant enough to cover the cost else say bye bye to your dividend. Added on October 29, 2010, 5:21 pm QUOTE(cherroy @ Oct 29 2010, 05:09 PM) Set a rule, no implement e-div, PN17. Cherroy, please write to Bursa about this issue. They need to wake up. For my case, If I be asked to pay that rm15 for the lost cheque, I will write to Bursa to make a complain so Bursa is aware of what is happening. Or at least if everybody reports, Bursa will do something maybe. This post has been edited by protonw: Oct 29 2010, 05:21 PM |

Just received some information about e-dividend that e-payment is based on announcement dates. Wonder it is true or not. Anyway, both Ahealth and DRBhcom announced before September 1st.
Happy weekends to all... |

Haha, maybe the sharks are waiting for CI to cross and stay above 1500pts.sort of quite well planned one. From the past one week, sharks also know Hua Yang is quite " well received " by investors, by way of smaller volumes returning or sold back to them. Just my conspiracy theory. |

KUALA LUMPUR: The wet weather caused by the La Nina will likely push the crude palm oil (CPO) futures to RM3,300 per tonne by the first quarter of 2011, says IOI Corp group executive chairman. Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng said on Friday, Oct 29 that “RM3,400 is possible if La Nina sets in,” adding that the current CPO futures had not taken into consideration the weather yet. “If you take the bad weather into consideration then RM3,300 and RM3,400 is not a dream. It is a reality,” he said, when asked to comment on a forecast that CPO futures would hit between RM3,300 to RM3,400. Asked if the CPO rally is sustainable, Lee said there would always be a cycle for the CPO prices. CPO third-month futures closed RM24 down at RM3,061 on Friday. Credit Suisse Research, had in a recent report, forecast a year-end seasonal rally, possibly until early 2011 for CPO. It said palm oil spot prices have breached the RM3,000 level, and is now at a 27-month high. Year-to-date (YTD), palm oil spot prices have averaged RM2,599 a tonne, up 18% year-to-date This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Oct 30 2010, 03:57 PM |

And since PK price jumps 61% from beginning of the year, it could benefit Cepat a lot. The other thing, smaller plant may have smaller hectares but incomes could be supplemented if they have oil mills. And large plantations like IOI is facing labour shortage problem, less impact for smaller ones. Since I prefer smaller plant stocks plus with oil mills would be better. basically, all estates are facing shortage of man power. So,this will heavily depend on the estate's fruit evacuation plan and whether to pay higher to those FFB loader, harvester.Becos we are trying to let them get very good pay if thier productivity is high and able to overcome the manpower shortage probelm.so some ffb loader and harvestor can easily got 2times salary of mine!!
some even request to work at night time after thier dinner,so we will install spotlights in those estate area which yield is more than 30MT/H.a We are having very good HR and TKI dept. where they go into Indon villages and find TKI. ( in this way, we saved a lot from de-intermediate) For mill, i would recommend to go into deeper to have a look at thier OER% (oil extraction rate %) because if the OER is lower than 22%, that means the plant efficiency is not really good and caused wastages. |

They have more or less upgraded their productive foreign workers into high income group (as compared to places they come from ). Their productivity does increase, so the businessmen still get what they want basically. This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Oct 31 2010, 09:25 AM |

Thanks.By going through the accounts of smaller planters, I guess some are trying to hide the profitability of their oil mill divisions by doing a " high transfer price" of the raw materials from the plant division. In a way, competitors may not know their efficiencies, so less new oil mills to compete with. But overall, company profitability remains the same. My assumption is that mostly small investors invest in small plantations, they so not really care which business division is more profitable, so long overall EPS is good. Can share a bit from your own analysis This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Oct 31 2010, 04:16 PM |

Their productivity does increase, so the businessmen still get what they want basically. and most important there is not much local worker can handle this job, as they said "susah nak buat" but bear in mind, if they are hardworking, their wages could higher than those white collar |

Labour shortage is across industries.
Statistics show that, reinvestment, new investment for factories/machinery are shrinking rapid, is because when company face labour shortage, you still want to expand your factory? The labour shortage issue could haunt the economy afterwards. When you face labour shortage then it is almost no brainer to know company won't want to expand further at least in here. Almost eveywhere, you see people want to hire. Be it McD, operators, technician. But those highly paid goyang kaki one, no vacancy. |

TDM surely will report good numbers this month. I think all plantation counters will report higher earnings. Not sure if the healthcare of TDM will provide the additional bump to profits. Wasted never collect more when hovering around RM2.12.

Palm oil futures in Malaysia climbed to the highest level in more than two years. January-delivery futures jumped as much as 1.1 per cent to RM3,095 a metric ton on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, the highest intraday level since July 28, 2008. - Bloomberg

Guys.. will this impact the stock market
DJ Malaysia Prime Minister Comes Down With Chickenpox After Asia Summit -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KUALA LUMPUR (AFP)--Malaysia Prime Minister Najib Razak came down with chickenpox during a weekend summit in Vietnam and would be unable to meet top dignitaries visiting this week, an official said Monday. Najib had been scheduled to hold talks in Kuala Lumpur with Australia's Prime Minister Julia Gillard on Monday and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Tuesday, after all three attended the East Asia Summit in Hanoi. "I can confirm the PM has chickenpox," Najib's media secretary Tengku Sharifuddin Tengku Ahmad said. "The doctors have asked him to rest and not to have contact with people so that is what he is doing," he said. "We don't want him to infect the nation." Tengku said the premier would cancel all official engagements and meetings for the rest of the week. "The deputy prime minister will handle all the official visits this week so there will not be any problems," he said. "We are hoping he recovers quickly and indications are good that his condition is improving." Government media adviser Jalaludin Bahaudin told state media that Najib felt unwell and had developed rashes, muscular aches and joint pains on the last day of the summits in Vietnam's capital. Leaders of the 10-nation Association of Southeast Asian Nations, or Asean, bloc met on Thursday, followed by the wider 16-country East Asia Summit, which took place Saturday. |

SHANGHAI: Growth in Chinese manufacturing accelerated in October, spurred by a surge in new orders especially for new equipment, a survey showed Monday.
The state-affiliated China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing said its purchasing managers index, or PMI, rose to 54.7 in October from 53.8 September and 51.7 in August. Monthly readings have stayed above 50, the benchmark for expansion, for 20 straight months, it said. China's economic growth slowed to 9.6 percent in July-September over a year earlier, down from the previous quarter's 10.3 percent. But the survey, an indicator of future trends, suggests the economy is on track for continued stable growth, the federation said in a notice on its website. It said the relatively strong reading for October reflected strong growth in new orders, particularly for transportation systems and other types of equipment. - AP |

QUOTE(harry1125 @ Nov 1 2010, 01:50 PM) just 3 weeks ago qcap was struggling at 0.99-1.01 level for 2 months behind other reits, so many talk talk wanna go for a yummy buy. now it surge to current 1.04.qcap is good good also i think, looking very "safe" and steady. although maybank paper does not like it. i sold it to goreng current hot stocks, not because it's no good. i keep arreit and axreit for their growth potential in near future.
