QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Oct 28 2010, 08:48 PM) Are you looking for this Unemployment claims drop sharply to 434K http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Unemployment...n&asset=&ccode= QUOTE(Jtic @ Oct 28 2010, 08:59 PM) i didn't fully lock profits and hide in cave haha, just a bit. it's just what i feel after gathering information from the market. difficulty breaching 1504.38, 5-day volume dropping off its peak, looks like mini wave 2 . jaga the profit first since some of my positions are speculative volume above 1.3B then balik for more speculative play just my thoughts. |

QUOTE(sharesa @ Oct 28 2010, 09:23 PM) Kencana is an uptrend counter at this moment. But need a strong heart to put up with, its movements is quite hard to grasp for me, very slippery. profits are goood indeed But I think many of you guys are expert with it. Added on October 28, 2010, 9:25 pm all profits are good but even better are the experts here who can pull off consistent 20-30% gains from each trade. bagus bagus. |

QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Oct 29 2010, 07:12 AM) Now it is the time to do some " trading buy" bcos many investors would lock in the profit just before the GE. i notice that the highlighted sentences are exactly the same words my father told me. he said always remember to get out 2-3 weeks before GE.Unless you are certain that BN could win by 2/3 majority. Plantation stocks could be a good " trading buy" since many are expected to produce good results in coming Qs. The export prices are always quoted in RM ( correct me if I am wrong ) , i.e lesser impact on currency if their managements do the currency hedging (payments/billed in US $ converted from rm ) , meaning you get back the same amount in RM, if you do not like the up and down of US $ . Happy Trading. can anyone with experience in this explain more? i haven't gone through the GE investing cycle at all.. tq tq |

QUOTE(GregPG01 @ Oct 29 2010, 09:28 AM) anyone into this hwgb ? chart looks bull from yesterday's closing . downside 0.2x , upside may be a lot if the mining story is true. all the tin mining stocks are on steroids at the moment.. even the ones that are bleeding cash. for historical readings for those who is not familiar, http://www.theedgemalaysia.com/highlights/...hare-price.html http://www.theedgemalaysia.com/component/c...cle/175917.html my knowledge of hwgb is that they used to have a lot of problems trying to manage their cashflow. .. |

QUOTE(Heihachi777 @ Nov 5 2010, 10:46 PM) yours is nominee? semicon is a volatile industry, plus the only semicon counter i can recall is Unisem, and OSK downgraded the stock to take profit due to a "10% Sequential Drop in Revenue". TP 1.6512.9% upside, more than what i anticipated by the way, global semicon sales is on rising, what is ur perspective of our local counters namely jcy, engtek, notion |

I was reading the weekend Financial Times here, and there was an editorial on QE2.
the paper is wary of bubbles. saying, QUOTE ..any QE cash used to buy bonds is by the by when it comes to the end effect. Whatever it buys, it puts cash into the market merry-go-round. Thanks to all this, new bubbles are emerging everywhere and you can then decide whether to jump on their bandwagons. Then note that if you do, for now at least, it may not really matter what you buy. Any old Asian or resource fund or metals ETF should do it. They end with, QUOTE Whatever you buy at the moment, do be ready to take your profits. Take QE out of the equation and it is hard to find value. And, as Mizuho's Jonathan Allum says, all too often "today's hot potato becomes tomorrow's organic compost" guys that's what pretty much sums up whats happening on this side of the world. |
