(I got APEX and DRBHCOM divvy 2 weeks delayed) If so, then better check when register time, they key in the right account no. |

QUOTE(protonw @ Oct 29 2010, 04:16 PM) According to Mospter, Apex by cheque. This one I will call registrar. It is traceable, nothing to worry, just file complaint to the registrar.Another forumer said DRBHCOM he received through bank. I have received 2 divvies through direct credit, so my account number is correct. High probability is they key one of my account different and pay to someone else. And all monies credited just have a sentence "SVG GIRO CR'. Cant they have a proper narration? For Giro name display, it is banks way of display, not the company registrar or Bursa CDS system fault. If have a few counters paying same time, and same amount, then has some trouble then to verify which is which. Especially reit, almost pay roughly the same time one. |

QUOTE(protonw @ Oct 29 2010, 04:41 PM) Thanks Mr remisier, I have sort it out with the company registrar. Will wait till next week, else I will e-mail them. Yalor, next Feb/March period may have some headache who has got lot of reit, and dividend stocks one. Bank should be specified on what transactions especially dividend. What if someone got twenty or fifty transactions a day? All printed SVG GIRO CR. QUOTE(smartly @ Oct 29 2010, 04:43 PM) this consider missing snail mail/missing cheque, irrespective what, you still need to pay the fee for replacement. I once didn't receive the cheque also, phoned them, they find out the mail/cheque is returned to them despite the address is perfectly correct, (the return mail reason, no such address otherwise, where are they going to re-issue you a cheque again without charging you anything. They just resend again without any charge incurred. |

QUOTE(protonw @ Oct 29 2010, 04:47 PM) But but.... they are suppose to implement e-dividend payment... what if they choose to forever also pay through cheque, so manyak I shared your frustration, Bursa should be stern on this, all registrar must implement e-div across start from Sept (except for those shareholders haven't register for it).I will argue till cow come home. |

QUOTE(smartly @ Oct 29 2010, 04:53 PM) return mail understandable but replacement of cheque will definitely have some fee involve there. If a company give tiny dividend, like 2 cents (even some well known company do give such dividend rate), and you have 10 lot, might as well forget about the replacement cheque already. i experience it when i didn't get my bjtoto dividend. 2 cents x 10 = Rm20, minus tax Rm15, replacement cost Rm 15, left zero. |

QUOTE(lklatmy @ Oct 29 2010, 05:00 PM) Here the fault lies with the company not wanting to go e-dividend,not the Registrar, and Bursa did not step it's feet down . Set a rule, no implement e-div, PN17. We have seen Bursa keep on saying retailers are not participating enough in this market, if this trivia issue also cannot be ironed out smoothly, how can people have confidence about the market. We buy stock in share market, and hoping to get a piece of profit through dividend. We shouldn't be the one worry about whether the dividend cheque will arrive or not. You don't create problem for the shareholders, you want them to enjoy the profit/dividend. It is same with privatisation offer, a 50K or 100K cheque being sent through snail mail, how can like that. There are cheque theft case as well. My company sent a cheque (5 digit), to the vendor, years ago. The vendor complaninig not receiving the cheque, 1-2 week later, received call from bank, said there is one bounced cheque due to alteration, go to check, it is the cheque send to xyz vendor, but the cheque payee name don't know how it is completely being erased and change to abc, a person name. |

Labour shortage is across industries.
Statistics show that, reinvestment, new investment for factories/machinery are shrinking rapid, is because when company face labour shortage, you still want to expand your factory? The labour shortage issue could haunt the economy afterwards. When you face labour shortage then it is almost no brainer to know company won't want to expand further at least in here. Almost eveywhere, you see people want to hire. Be it McD, operators, technician. But those highly paid goyang kaki one, no vacancy. |

QUOTE(harry1125 @ Nov 4 2010, 03:52 PM) US keep printing notes but those money is not flowing within US .....all go to Asia The fear is massive inflow push up all things in drastic way, look at how HSI surge this week, everyday also near 500 points up, non-stop, while when they decide to pull back (due to whatever reason, from economy issue, USD, interest rate hike or whatever), the massive pull back, can lead to shock to the system as well.Added on November 4, 2010, 3:55 pm Top glove and others already bounce a bit but adventa havent The situation is very similar prior 1997. Except most Asian countries condition are more healthy across. But we don't rule out, if those money causing bubble in real estate across Asia, Asia may suffer the consequence of the bubble as well. Total liberal, no control is very dangerous for modern day financial market. |

QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Nov 4 2010, 11:09 PM) Those hide trillions of cash would have to use the $ to exchange for something. Toilet paper also quite expensive nowadays, cost >Rm10 per 10 rolls pack. So you see " spending and investments" all over US. Because US $ is going to be" toilet papers" aka less value. |

With this QE, and Fed so eager to push up inflation, got no choice, panic buy to protect against inflation.
Frankly speaking, push up inflation, push up stock market, only benefit the rich one, poor unemployment one could still remain unemployed. Below title speaks all. http://www.cnbc.com/id/40006412 QUOTE Wall Street Isn't Fully Back Yet, But Bonuses Are When most ordinary people are suffering from the aftermath of crisis which resulted from financial market. In fact, with inflation looming, it could means people not able to spend more. Last time pump petrol USD3/galloon become USD4, it means less USD1 ability to spend, while for sure income rising ratio won't able to match the inflation. We could see oil price hit USD100 pretty soon, if situation continue like that. This post has been edited by cherroy: Nov 4 2010, 11:22 PM |
