try restart your router? are you running torrent? i always encounter this problem. if restart router doesnt work and i will restart my whole pc then it should work.

already try hotspot shield, but once the hotspot shield connected, i can't even surf the net, fail to login into steam also...

usually I just restart the router so it change the IP, certain IP range has difficulty connecting to steam (in my case)

Hey guys, do you all know that Lead and Gold has a feature that other fps games don't have.
Although lack of MY servers, you still can join in-game-self-created servers (white colour servers title). They are no ping-limited.
If you feel lag in a server, you still can play easily. You can see the players lag and stop in a position (this is the condition of lag). You still can shoot those "lagging" players and the damage still inflicted. If you aim and shoot them perfectly, you will see the player you aimed die when moving to next position.
Isn't it fun?

Dude, that's basically a non-dedicated MP server... Which is the defacto model for just about EVERY FPS multiplayer game from the moment Doom used it.

Its no big deal and is pretty much how most console FPS multiplayer games are hosted.

Plus, the "plus" point you listed out is also the reason nobody likes this method since the host gets a fairly huge advantage.

What's the point of playing a laggy game in the first place?
For that, I'll choose Shattered Horizon over Lead and Gold (Yeah, I bought SH way long on their pre-release.

SH is more of a strategic FPS than some typical shooter game in Lead and Gold.

It's just a tip for the people who still want to play LaG although no local servers...
I agree that LaG is nice.
About SH, I cannot give any comments to it compared to LaG, as I never buy and play it...
