QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Dec 12 2010, 05:52 PM) I've done many overseas purchases so i know how crappy Malaysian customs are. Malaysia BOLEH.Delays getting through customs. In worse case scenario; if your item does gets taxed; you need to head down to the airport yourself and pay the tax before they release it. These days my packages arrive at my doorstep and no tax or any other further incident. The only bad thing likely to happen is if i receive a package via the local Poslaju and i am not in; they may keep my packgage at their distribution center and i'd have to go collect it myself. From experience; DHL, EMS, Fedex will deliver to my doorstep, so i've come to like those better than Poslaju. Anyway some random facts Added on December 13, 2010, 1:47 am QUOTE(xcen @ Dec 12 2010, 06:43 PM) I'm not really a hardcore gamer and I don't find myself needing that extra few milliseconds to double tap, so I guess Blue suits me. Not means by gamer or not, not the clicky sound as well.I love the sound too, just afraid sometimes will disturb others. simply which type of switches that you prefer. if you don like the click, no point to get BW. Just your preference. Added on December 13, 2010, 1:51 am QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Dec 12 2010, 10:47 PM) mostly our hands have too much force to write on a keyboard. if you really wanted to buy a mechanical, i suggest you guys read alot reviews among those 3 types of cherry MX switch, because after you purchase those switches, you'll be require to train how to control your force and avoid bottoming the keys all the time. and that's most efficient for type writers Ya need read review to decide which type you prefer before you pay.But i don't think necessary to study how to control the actuation force and point when typing. Just use it and your hand automatically will adapt, and after 1 week or maybe 1 month, you will found that your typing much more silence compare to previous (if you using MX black, brown or red which is no click) Added on December 13, 2010, 1:52 am@moogle How much do you think a set of black color blank key caps will cost? (108 keys layout) Added on December 13, 2010, 3:23 pmIn KL area, where can get the key caps puller? If i am not buying any key caps. Buy WASD is fine but not whole set. Hmm quite expensive, off my budget.Anyway this is what the G80-3494 looks with doubleshots. ![]() Anyway, do you think your key caps profile not really fit the Cherry's keyboard steepness? What i means is the key caps not really face upward and instead it too steep and inclined forward. I notice this and feel it more obvious in the numpad part of your picture. |

QUOTE Review: - The keyboard feels extremely cheap like those $5-10 rubberdome keyboards - Not plate mounted (show alot of flexing when replacing keycaps) - NKRO can be literally be seen. (Diodes can be seen) - Very big compared to a Filco - Cherry Red are extremely light and fun to type on - The keyboard angle is perfect even without using the height raising legs http://forums.vr-zone.com/hardware-arena/8...tml#post8938021 |

QUOTE(jasmineivan @ Dec 13 2010, 09:28 AM) Anyway, do you think your key caps profile not really fit the Cherry's keyboard steepness? the GH custom Double Shot keycap are from SP,What i means is the key caps not really face upward and instead it too steep and inclined forward. I notice this and feel it more obvious in the numpad part of your picture. SP make their key cap more towards for Cherry KB then filco/ducky/das/steelseries. Their DCS key cap profile are lower then regular filco/ducky/das/steelseries. and about the same as cherry DCS key cap profile. so they suit cherry keyboard better then filco/ducky/das/steelseries kb. |

If your gonna pay that much the realforce might be better; i read from others who tried them saying the realforce felt better typing on.However the HHKB has its small form factor Anyway try check on it a bit more comparing the realforce and HHKB before you decide |
