when physics calculation involve during cpu test 2, on ati system it use the cpu resources.. on nvidia system, it been processed inside the gpu.. so not strain the cpu much.. since they acquired AGEIA PhysX..
u should look on gpu score only for comparison.. that's huge..

take it with a huge chunk of salt. AMD or any corporation will never cannibalize their own product. Expect september or october the earliest.

Try it yourself whether you like the noise or not... Increase your case airflow as well...

Hi all. I'm currently using a stock 4850 that came with my system (bought from dell) . Its getting on a bit and is bloody noisy when i play some games.
I was wondering which graphic card would be a good option to upgrade to ? Also , is it difficult to change a graphic card (sorry no computer building experience) .

About 500-600. Stretchable to 700 i guess . Prefer one that isn't over excessively hot while still delivering good perfomance / quiet. This post has been edited by Sey: Feb 6 2011, 05:07 PM

It's either a HD6850 or a GTX460 1GB,the cheapest HD6850 i can find is the Sapphire HD6850 at RM599 while the cheapest GTX460 1GB i can find is the Leadtek GTX460 1GB OC RM549,both price are from Lowyat Plaza.
