Hi all. I'm currently using a stock 4850 that came with my system (bought from dell) . Its getting on a bit and is bloody noisy when i play some games.

I was wondering which graphic card would be a good option to upgrade to ? Also , is it difficult to change a graphic card (sorry no computer building experience) .

About 500-600. Stretchable to 700 i guess biggrin.gif . Prefer one that isn't over excessively hot while still delivering good perfomance / quiet.

Went for a Gigabyte 6850. So glad to be rid of my 4850.

I was using a stock version of it . Its extremely hot (70+ idle and 90+ on load) , not to mention the fan sounds like a vacuum during load. cry.gif . Its like a portable heater in my room laugh.gif
