I cannot connect. The error message is " Unable to validate game version. This may be caused by file corruption or interference with another program". When i launch the launcher, it says version 4.1.0.13914. It says my wow is up to date as well. Why is this happening? Also, now my WoW folder grew to 28GB. This is like fresh installed WoW. So big the folder size for freshly installed WoW?

Check your realm list and recheck the steps / instruction at the 1st post

Go into wow folder for the wow.exe

once the client up look at the bottom left of the screen, check if its the latest version.

28 gig seems normal for wow.

found out the reason already ,

SuperSock5cap is the reason behind the dc thing,

even if you still have 2 day before SuperSock5cap trial version expired, you will start experience the dc..
that what happen to me though.

A)Using SuperSock5cap software

I found a way you can reset the 30 day trial. Make sure your Super Socks5Cap is not running.
1. On your start menu search bar or Windows Key+R, type in %appdata%.
2. Go to the folder NetworkTunnel, and delete the file supersocks5cap.lic.
3. Start Super Socks5Cap and you got another whole 30 days. Enjoy

I can connect now. Thanks hidden. It seems the realmlist will auto change to US everytime I update new patch. Have to manually change it everytime for each update.

yeah finaly i in wow tw. can i join the guild while i still in trial period ?

OK, yesterday i hit the cap at lvl 15. Immediately i become frantic and search for a way to top up my account. I found out i can top up without leaving my PC. Just head over to offgamers website, and purchase the wow time card. I purchased the 90 days pass for RM125, pay it with credit card. Then immediately got my code. Keyed into the wow TW website, and I continue to have fun in WoW with help from both Hidden and Huffy. Thanks yeah. Still a lot i gotta learn since I left WoW 4 years ago.

It seems now weapon also don't need to train? Last time i remember for each weapon, say axe or sword, you have to equip it and use it in combat, then your skill with that weapon will increase. If you weapon skill is low for a particular weapon, you will miss when you use that weapon until you get the weapon skill up. In Cata, no more such requirement?

I like the new dungeon finder options. Can go to dungeon easily without shouting in general chat for ppl to party with me like last time. I basically set always going to random dungeon all the time. However, i notice now can level up really fast. So when I use dungeon finder while I follow some lvl guide, it cannot be sync. I will outlevel the leveling guide very fast, making me almost impossible to finish the quest from one area.

Below level 60, is there any raid I can participate? Any raid finder option like dungeon finder?

Below level 60, is it advisable to go to battle ground? battle ground is divided by each 10 level right? Level 21-30 one BG, level 31 to lvl 40 one BG.

Anyone got the problem of logging into Wow today? I got an error : Unable to validate game version. Mine is 4.1 though.
