Guys, I wanna try out trial account of WoW taiwan, when I go to the account creation page, the top got option to have 2 sets of code to be inputted.

First is newbie activision code and the second is the recruitment code. How do I get those codes before registering an account? Some help please.

Also, the link to download the font does not work. Any alternate sites to download the fonts? I have already downloaded the game.

need help. I have the latest wow client from playing on blizzard server. Created an account today. Got confirmation email reply. Can login to wow taiwan website user my login. Changed the realmlist file to tw. But when i try to connect in the wow client. I cannot. It says i must login with a battle net account name.

I wonder if i key in my login wrongly? My user name i put "lchee". SHould it be lchee or actually my email address? Blizzard server uses email address as login. I did try to use email address to login. But immediately i got the message "you have been disconnected from server". Please help.

i did. I suspect maybe it's the server under maintenance now. Will try login in the noon.

OK, manage to log into game now. I have created a worgen rogue. My ingame nick is lchee. Please add me into your guild and help me to start in this server if possible. Thanks for all the pointers so far. I got free play for the next 10 days right?

Got some problem. I was able to login to game just now. Then i restarted my computer. Now I try to launch the WoW client, it says insufficient space. I have like 7GB free on my C drive. Is 7GB free space still not enough to launch the game?

I cleared up some space. Now when I try to launch the client, it starts downloading the game. I wonder what happened? I was already playing in the server earlier in the evening, proving my client was alright. All of a sudden now it seems to need to download like another 4.7GB of files before I can start playing. Weird. I checked my WoW folder, it is now 21GB. Damn... something wrong i guess.

ic, wow really is big folder. I am still using the default US update server. I think what I am downloading now could be the patch to 4.1. Guess I will have to wait till thursday night to play at wow taiwan. Downloading the patch gonna take till tomorrow morning.

Wow, you have some serious addiction with chii.. hahaha.... anyway.... how big is the patch from 4.0.6 to 4.1? My launcher is saying I require to download something like 4.5GB of files. Is that the same for you chobits? As I am only using 1MB streamyx, i just leave it download at home for now. Should be done by this evening. Which means no WoW taiwan for me tonight as well until WoW taiwan update to 4.1

I am now using the trial account. So i believe no trade, no whisper, no mail and cap at lvl 20. Would like to know the easiet way to activate my account. Is there anyone in the guild a tailor? I need some bags to start off in this WoW server.

damn, after downloaded the patch 4.1 got some problem. Cannot launch wow at all. Seems like I gotta redownload the whole install again. Is there any existing files patches from my current wow folder that I can save so that i don't need to redownload the full 15GB installer?

ok, now when i click launcher "play" button, it will take like 30 seconds then wow game will appear. It used to be very fast, like 2 seconds then the login screen appear. Also, in 4.0.6, my login screen was in english. But now it became chinese character. Is this normal? I still cannot login though, since wow taiwan still not yet update to 4.1

Hidden, why do you say don't use launcher to start WoW, instead use the exe file directly? I know that can be done, but why skip the launcher?

was out partying yesterday so didn't get to play wow. Will try to play intensely over the long weekend.

Guys, I see in my C:\Program File there are two folders.

One is World of Warcraft where my game is, size about 25.6GB. There is also another folder called World of Warcraft.temp, size about 5.57GB. Inside this temp folder, every files ends with extension .temp. Is this folder necessary? Can I delete it?

I cannot connect. The error message is " Unable to validate game version. This may be caused by file corruption or interference with another program". When i launch the launcher, it says version 4.1.0.13914. It says my wow is up to date as well. Why is this happening? Also, now my WoW folder grew to 28GB. This is like fresh installed WoW. So big the folder size for freshly installed WoW?

I can connect now. Thanks hidden. It seems the realmlist will auto change to US everytime I update new patch. Have to manually change it everytime for each update.

OK, yesterday i hit the cap at lvl 15. Immediately i become frantic and search for a way to top up my account. I found out i can top up without leaving my PC. Just head over to offgamers website, and purchase the wow time card. I purchased the 90 days pass for RM125, pay it with credit card. Then immediately got my code. Keyed into the wow TW website, and I continue to have fun in WoW with help from both Hidden and Huffy. Thanks yeah. Still a lot i gotta learn since I left WoW 4 years ago.

It seems now weapon also don't need to train? Last time i remember for each weapon, say axe or sword, you have to equip it and use it in combat, then your skill with that weapon will increase. If you weapon skill is low for a particular weapon, you will miss when you use that weapon until you get the weapon skill up. In Cata, no more such requirement?

I like the new dungeon finder options. Can go to dungeon easily without shouting in general chat for ppl to party with me like last time. I basically set always going to random dungeon all the time. However, i notice now can level up really fast. So when I use dungeon finder while I follow some lvl guide, it cannot be sync. I will outlevel the leveling guide very fast, making me almost impossible to finish the quest from one area.

Below level 60, is there any raid I can participate? Any raid finder option like dungeon finder?

Below level 60, is it advisable to go to battle ground? battle ground is divided by each 10 level right? Level 21-30 one BG, level 31 to lvl 40 one BG.

Guys, i'm puzzled. Is this wow taiwan server we are playing an official bnet server? All the while i thought this is just some private server. Reason being if it's official bnet server by blizzard, we should actually buy the games itself and not only pay the monthly fees. Please educate me on this.

I have successfully merged my wow TW account to blizzard account. I tried to login with my battlenet ID (username is my address, password is my battlenet ID password), but it says my prepaid has been used up. How is that possible. I just reloaded for 90 days period last week. Any idea?

I think I have successfully merged my TW wow account to my existing battlenet account. When I login to my battle net account (https://tw.battle.net/account/management/), I can see the WoW TW under the summary tab. However, you will notice on the top right corner it mention account balance is 0. When I try login from the wow client also mention i have used up my prepaid. I am trying to find a channel from blizzard support to report this. I think my case is an isolated case whereby I successfully merged my account but the credit information was lost.

i already submitted a report to battlenet. But it's the english site. Any battlenet taiwan link for me to report my problem? Maybe the taiwan side can resolve my problem faster.

Hi xiaotim, I tried changing password as recommended by someone. Also changed my realmlist. Restarted my PC. And now I no longer get the top up message anymore. I got the same error message where it says I have no wow account attached to the battle net ID. I still cannot play... sob sob....
