QUOTE(Yong_5290 @ Nov 1 2010, 01:31 AM) ho to all forte members...i'm intrested in getting the 2.0 forte but need some practical information from existing owner -hows the ride? > Speechless..-hows the ride? -any prob? -how about the FC (2.0) -any problem encountered? -where 2 service? Klang -any prob? > Nope..just a minor rattling sound on the backseat & dashboard -how about the FC (2.0) > FC (City)= averagely 9-11L/100km & depending on your right foot also. Highway (at 110km/h) = 6.5L/100km -any problem encountered? > Nothing -where 2 service? QUOTE(kiaforteclub @ Nov 1 2010, 04:50 PM) u better now keep your ears to the engine cause its lean out the air/fuel mixture so u can get pinging very easily uphill especially if you are using ron95. I will do just that 1.6 maybe ok but u have to keep an ear on 2.0 as your setup is leaner than 1.6. don't say i didnt advise ok bro.... hehehehe This post has been edited by izputra: Nov 1 2010, 05:02 PM |

QUOTE(MooMoointown @ Nov 3 2010, 01:20 AM) Well the wind sound can only be heard 1 side n I can differentiate d normal wind sound,... This 1 like accond blowing wind..... Did u mean whistling sound? My 2.0 got this minor whistling sound coming from the driver side mirror's hinge when driving above 90km/h (heard it when the window is down). But i just ignore it coz most of the time it was unheard coz i close the window This post has been edited by izputra: Nov 3 2010, 07:55 AM |

QUOTE(MooMoointown @ Nov 3 2010, 09:06 AM) But I didn't open any window,... It's exactly like I opened a lil down window, oh! how do I control d acc everytime I on it? Should I on by pressing auto or just the ac button cuz if press auto it auto changes to air flow from outside ,.... Sorry I ask stupid things but a real noob to drive such highend car.... Hahaha Press AC will do. Just need to manually set other preferred settings first (outdoor/recirculate & flow mode) for once. So i left only the fan speed to be controlled automatically by the system. For me, i just press AC to on & press OFF to off the aircond after that. |

QUOTE(keagan @ Nov 4 2010, 08:17 PM) hello peeps, just wanna ask how's the FC for the 2.0 unit? so far any major problems with the car? If u prefer bigger car + extra useful features + extra safety, go for the 2.0 Forte. If u concern more on the FC, City will give u better FC figures. But dont take my words wrongly, Forte 2.0 also offers good FC especially on highway drive which i personally clocked an average of 6.1-6.7L/100km with the average speed of 110km/h. Not to mention the extra 'kick' that i have under the hood if i need it for overtaking or whatsoever. For a 100% town driving, a figure of 9-11L/100km can be achieved depending on how bad the traffic is. The FC is comparable to most other 2.0 car in the same segment i must say. asking coz i'm interested in getting one... my current pitch would be either the E grade city or the 2.0 forte...not sure if this is the right place to ask but i'm just trying my luck... btw, how's the service centers doing as in, do they really 'layan' ur problems are there's the tidak apa attitude? thx peeps For service centres, i've gone to 3 different Nazakia SCs as of now, so far so good & i have to say that the bill for the scheduled maintenance for Forte are lower than the City (even for the Forte 2.0), not to say the Civic which is costlier. So, at the end of the day, it is up to u to decide based on your priorities in getting a car. It is your money & your pleasure anyway. Buy the one that u need/like, not the one that others like..wish u happy choosing bro This post has been edited by izputra: Nov 5 2010, 01:26 AM |
