QUOTE(Taipan052 @ Oct 24 2010, 07:10 PM) yup. compatible from 1.0 to 2.0 (got setting to match engine capacity) Aiyaa..use 12V socket mehh? i already use the socket to put in Medklinn Air Sterilizer no cutting. plug n play. so if anything just take out and restore back to original condition. however dunno whether got any negative effect in the long run. maybe other sifu could advice further. product that i use 2 actually. one is kind of VS (plug at 12v socket). another one is like air bleeding/leaking concept. i lazy to test one by one, put both straight away. |

QUOTE(Taipan052 @ Oct 25 2010, 08:29 AM) and take out the ionizer lah.. put nanoblock odorkiller.. Already bought this la bro..rugilah klau tak guna. Anyway..i found that this air sterilizer is very2 good & well proven world wide. At least my car interior now smells fresh (like after rain smell) & able to reduce (sometimes total elimination) my morning running nose after about 10 minutes driving my car using it.http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=625053 This post has been edited by izputra: Oct 25 2010, 10:19 AM |

QUOTE(ggeatweb @ Oct 25 2010, 10:21 AM) I've got the same one as you.... I bought it at Jusco during Raya promotion You also kena poisoned by Desmond??? Anyway, no regrets, it's a good product. I saw the new special edition 2.0 car in the showroom...sun roof, the leather seats had red sewing, and best of all had two 12V ports...sigh... Sighh..how i wish i got the option to choose between the SE & the standard 2.0 at the initial stage of buying the car..i will choose the SE without thinking twice. However..need to fork out another 3k for the extras (but no MDPS) This post has been edited by izputra: Oct 25 2010, 10:35 AM |

QUOTE(DnG @ Oct 25 2010, 02:38 PM) Tested Ford Fiesta Sport 1.6L Ti-VCT. For RM80+k Forte wins hand down Unless u are going after the sporty and chicky look I went to Ford PJ last Saturday to test drive the Sport Fiesta, but unluckily got many people test driven it that morning. Not willing to wait longer, so i just look2 at it & took some brochures. Then, i went to VW showroom at the Old Klang Road & test drove the VW Polo 1.2TSI & VW Golf 1.4TSI instead. All i can say is that it was impressive. IMO, the just only 1.2cc turbocharged Polo can match our 2.0 Forte acceleration anytime, anyday. If looking at the 0-100km/h figure, the Polo will smoke the 2.0 Forte with relatively ease. Not to say the 1.4cc Twincharged Golf..floored the pedal & i simply stick tight to the backseat. The 7-speed dry-clutch DSG is simply marvelous..especially when using the paddle shifter in the Golf (no paddle shifter in the Polo)Too used to Forte's heavy steering and stability so when cornering the Fiesta has the fear of car turning turtle |

If my memory still serves me right (reading from paultan last time), the Fiesta come from Thailand, same assembly plan with the Mazda 2..somehow the design between both cars look almost the same right..be it HB or the sedan Actually i'm looking for a small car to replace my wife's Kenari & Fiesta actually grab my wife's attention. That's why i jalan2 to car showrooms last weekend This post has been edited by izputra: Oct 26 2010, 08:45 AM |

QUOTE(knickerboxers @ Oct 26 2010, 08:55 PM) Yupp..6.1L/100km. 100% highway from Alor Setar to KL (this pic snapped just before the Duta toll). Most of the time autocruising at 110km/h with 3 adults + 2 small children + almost full boot. I consider that as quite impressive also for a normally aspirated 2.0 C segment car. But during my last long distance travelling, only managed to clock 6.7L/100km for 100% highway driving. Maybe due to some aggresive overtaking maneuver |

So an average of 10L/100km for mostly town driving can be concluded for an averagely light footer like me...This post has been edited by izputra: Oct 26 2010, 10:04 PM |

QUOTE(titarium @ Oct 27 2010, 01:10 PM) I am not sure GPS gives me a better accuracy or the dash board whenever I am traveling 110 on dash board GSP (2 units here Garmin + Phone) shows 100-103 km/h Both my in-dash Papago GPS & iphone Papago M6 GPS also gave lower speed reading. At 110km/h (on the car's speedometer), both the GPS unit just shows 106km/h only. Driving my uncle's CRV last week & using my iphone Papago GPS..i got almost the same reading (107km/h) for a 110km/h at the CRV's's speedometer. Yupp..maybe it is a buffer purposely set by the manufacturer to make sure that the car is not overspeeding (that leads u getting the summon ticket)So we have 10 km/h to buffer ? btw envy your RPM so low at high speed 1.6 SX at 2.9 rpm for 110km/h at dash board. |
