will it shorten the life span of the gearbox if i only use shiftronic to drive the car? I feel the auto upshifts too fast, so i prefer to use the shiftronic mode instead to upshift at around 2.5 - 2.8K for each gear change.
Plus, i miss the feeling of control of a manual car, so the shiftronic will be much closer to what i use to have. Will it affect gearbox life? |

naza kia sungai pinang penang doesn't deliver as promised. 14 days has passed, the manager says one thing the SA says another...both are from the same place but i have 2 different stories.
for those intending to buy their car from this place, please think twice. i thought a distributor would be more reliable and punctual on their time frame as compared to a dealer. i'm not sabotaging this branch in anyway however i'm extremely dissatisfied with the lame excuses they are providing. this is a precautionary note to all potential forte buyers. cheers.. |

QUOTE(XionCity @ Dec 21 2010, 02:25 PM) the only improvement from Lancer to Inspira, is the Lotus tunings, ride and suspension, and also the CVT Gearbox... That's what I read in papers too but cannot believe the interior is SO "so2" that I thought Proton "improved" it too Premium Meguiars/Cobra detailing: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1562657&hl= Added on December 24, 2010, 7:07 am QUOTE(keagan @ Dec 23 2010, 06:11 PM) naza kia sungai pinang penang doesn't deliver as promised. 14 days has passed, the manager says one thing the SA says another...both are from the same place but i have 2 different stories. You mean service center or sales as I got mine from Krystal point but no free gifts extra I heard so much from others but got my Metal bronze early as skip to choose from my booked spicy red. Now still longing maybe get a red Koup for those intending to buy their car from this place, please think twice. i thought a distributor would be more reliable and punctual on their time frame as compared to a dealer. i'm not sabotaging this branch in anyway however i'm extremely dissatisfied with the lame excuses they are providing. this is a precautionary note to all potential forte buyers. cheers.. Service center wise I go to Sg Nibong branch as nearer which is oklah though lots suggest Sg Pinang one. This post has been edited by msk: Dec 24 2010, 07:07 AM |

I think most of us experienced the same. I was being promised to have my car done in 2 weeks times, but at last one and half month then i got mine. I bought coach tickets to travel back from JB twice to collect my car but end up i got nothing but lot of BS. I beh tahan n F them upside down and lastly, i got my car without giving any hopes on waiting time. Now i'm enjoying my ride and whacked 1.8k mileage within 2 weeks now. for those intending to buy their car from this place, please think twice. i thought a distributor would be more reliable and punctual on their time frame as compared to a dealer. i'm not sabotaging this branch in anyway however i'm extremely dissatisfied with the lame excuses they are providing. this is a precautionary note to all potential forte buyers. cheers.. |

Actually that is what proton wants everyone to believe la.I got a fren working with RnD. Lotus/Proton ride and Handling is just PURE MARKETING GIMMICK. Let me tell u that the inspira uses a much more INFERIOR KAYABA Suspension system compared to the original Lancer. The only thing they improve is by giving ARB and Stabilizer Bars as Stock. Of coz the Ride is Much better than that of a Lancer because its Running on 16" instead of 18"!! Plus the Continental Tires CC5 sure Helps alot in that department. |

Do u think those cars handle wells like a lotus? it definitely not. Altho Proton supporters may say otherwise. Read up Those car reviews in the UK. Every reviewers are bashiing the "Handling by Lotus" Emblem A lotus it is not. |
