I think the rim weight itself is around 11kg. Rim + Tyre is close to 20kg....

The front doors can be opened while it's locked. If you're moving they will quickly lock themselves again, but the door is already a little bit open by then blink.gif .

However, the rear doors will not unlock on their own. So just make sure children don't sit in the front seat.

Yes, I agree this a potential safety issue. I wonder how they missed this one.... rclxub.gif

My car loan has been approved. Will be making balance deposit payment tomorrow, and should get delivery of the car by 31 December 2010. I am wondering whether it makes sense for me to ask the SA to delay delivery by another few days so that my car can be registered as a 2011 car, and hence fetch better re-sale value in the future. What do you guys think?

The resale value of a car are base on the manufacturing date, not registering date. So, delaying the delivery date to early January will not do any good to the resale value as the car is still a 2010 manufactured car. Unless u buy a car probably on Mac or April to get the 2011 manufactured car wink.gif

Just imagine..you unlock all your doors just to get down your car..suddenly someone jumps in the front passenger side and drives off your car..so with this system..you just open your driver side door or front passenger side door without unlocking the whole car! smile.gif makes sense? Haha much more convenient too tongue.gif

For the door opening, what I think they "missed" was the car would unlock even when the car is moving at 110km/h. They should have some safety feature there. The fact is that while moving the door will actual quickly lock back, but the problem is that the door is already a little opened before the lock kicks in (I know because I tried it on the highway sweat.gif)...so they need this safety feature against "experimenting engineer adults" like me tongue.gif

Regarding rims, I think you can find a lot of second hand 15" at tyre/rims shops, a lot of them are quite new as the owners change them not long after getting new car....that's because a lot of people with thick 15" would upgrade to 16" or 17" for improved handling.

But for new 15" light sport rims, yeah it's a pain to find them.... rclxub.gif
