QUOTE(Taipan052 @ Oct 24 2010, 01:49 AM) Seeing is Believing... mahu mati ah ada mod tak share dengan saya ah! want me to call u every morning 6am! ????[attachmentid=1849481] A picture with thousand words... 1) after test for few hours on last Friday, the device really show something when I fill up full tank on early morning today 2) the last time (many months ago) when i got DTE above 600KM is only when i driving on highway with 90~100KM/H and maintain light foot for city driving. Recently my DTE always between 530KM and 560KM. For above picture, its an improvement of 50KM at least. 3) on Friday itself, i stuck in heavy jam and speeding above 110KM/H when there is no traffic 4) so far the FC when idling at traffic light is improving. 5) pickup up still the same and at certain time way better than normal 6) So far travel 50% city 50% hiway manage to clock 128KM with DTE 487KM (if add up the figure same with picture above - quite accurate reading). Only 1 & half bar consume. 7) haven't test 100% light foot driving style.. and the result really outstanding. (if i can hit 550KM for 100% city driving with heavy traffic jam what you could expect for 100% highway driving? as i've manage to clock 630KM for 100% highway driving before (stock condition).. that's what i'm going to test right now.. i'm driving a lot in city. will test highway when going back hometown someday. what else could i say.. i won't give further detail.. just assume it as a teaser.. will give more review when i finish full tank later. however, maybe it will takes long time than expected.. |

QUOTE Like to share my findings on above from DENSO JAPAN when I emailed to them on replacement for FORTE 1.6 stock plugs (CHAMPION RER8MC): this was taken from SG Kia ClubDear Sir. The Iridium Power for Champ. RER8MC is IXUH22. IXUH22 dimension is 12mmThread Diameter, 26.5mm Thread Length ,16mmHex. We,Denso <have just released IXUH22 in Singapore market. Some stores do not stock IXUH22 yet. In this situation, please ask shop clerk if this IXUH22 can be ordered or not. Apparently, Forte uses what is known as Long Reach type which is slim (12mm) and long (26.5mm) compared to most plugs like IK20 or IK16 which is bigger (14 mm) and shorter. It is to enable better cooling and to get better power for the engine due to its smaller size which enables better angle displacement for the valves in the engine. Hope above helps for all Forte 1.6 owners who want to swap their stock plugs like me.. old info pls update as ppl based on book not real part inspection to recommend the only Denso Iriduim is IXUH22I for G4FC 1.6L Forte. other makes not yet get as they have close match but like IXUH22 case wrong spec when you look at actual unit. Added on October 25, 2010, 2:20 pmcalled Bosch confirmed no replacement for our model yet This post has been edited by kiaforteclub: Oct 25 2010, 02:20 PM |

QUOTE(ggeatweb @ Oct 26 2010, 02:23 PM) Hi folks, read this http://www.myforteclub.com/forum/9-upgrade...grade-info#5576I just found out about rim offset considerations when changing my rims from 17" to 16". It seems like the 16" I got has a smaller offset, causing the wheel to protrude out a little. Does anyone know what is the offset for the stock 17" and 15", and what should be used for 16"? KFC, may I know what is the offset of your 16"? Thanks. |

QUOTE(gash77 @ Oct 27 2010, 11:38 AM) aiyo yesterday night kena the cannot start because the brake pedal not press issue. had to use the pressing of the start button for 10 seconds method to start the car. funny thing is that the issue is because the brake pedal felt very hard to press (like the hydraulic stuck) so cannot go down all the way and due to that the button cannot press. start the engine and the brake felt loose immediately. anyone kena before? method to avoid? its a locking mechanism .... should feel like one mah! |
