dashboard, the cracks started from the radio mounting..please check ur mountings...if the radio is inserted too tightly , cracks will be visible whitin 1 year or months, as the dashboard materials starts to give way.

Hi, I'm wondering did other Kia Forte showing any warning if running out of petrol? My car has traveled 440km since last full tank refill (use ron 97), the "Estimate to Empty" meter showing about 60km more, and the petrol needle indicating at very low level. Anyone else facing this problem?

I can't find the petrol kiosk light when I start up the engine. In manual it stated the DTE shown ----- when lesser than 50km, but the petrol indicator is running very low, i feel worry when driving even though there is no warning light.

Can anyone kind enough to take photo of the low petrol warning and post it here? Thanks~ rclxms.gif

Read ur manual, more focusly, it is all written in the manual,

There is a petrol kiosk light, AND the LCD will show "low fuel" warning. if u not seeing this, either u not low enough in fuel, or both light not functioning which i doubt it will happen.

Hong Leong. Downpayment 15% then u can get below 2.8% interest.
I just submitted yesterday and tmr they will let me know.

Or PBB. Downpayment 15% then can get 2.8%.

But that all depends on your docs as well. If no bad record most prolly no prob.

Today my forte was stuck at the side of the highway.. sad.gif
Ran out of fuel.. somehow the display was not obvious enough for me to notice.. So happily driving until suddenly engine shut down while driving.

A passer by helped by buying me some fuel (1.5 L worth, big mineral water bottle). But after putting in, still not enough to start the engine. Still got the immobiliser sign. So the highway team had to tow to the nearest station.

What is the min fuel level to start the engine?
