But if you open the contacts from phone shortcuts it'll only show phone contacts.

Lots of users here have alternative phone but still sticking around with N900.

Like me Nokia N900 still my main phone replying from my N900 now.
The best u merge your IM with your contact thats what i do

After getting some pm's about how to install MeeGo I decided to add the installation method.
Be warned that it's only for the advanced users only & I'll not answer any question regarding how to install it till a proper v 1.1 is released.
Those who know what they are doing should be able to install the OS without major issue.

Everything seems to be in working order.Try with another pc/laptop.

It's not practical to use Navit.
For once the whole app will crash if you start the GUI from shortcut.To get around it you need to initiate the program from terminal.
Even the map integration is hit & miss.Sometimes can get proper navigation & sometimes don't.The whole app just unstable.
Even to configure the map & app is a miracle.

turn off all firewall from your anti-virus to be certain. I need to turn off Kaspersky when i am using SSH
