Bandai should really consider releasing some Gaia Gear stuff...
![]() ![]() It looks more Macross than Gundam to be honest, but man look at the intricate designs of the mechas. The arsenal of the Gaia Gear itself is a sight to behold... loads of missiles, beam cannons, multipurpose launcher, bazookas, even funnels. I-field, Minovsky Drive, Psycommu... you name it, it has it. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « http://bbs.xhood.net/viewthread.php?tid=13522&extra=&page=1 More: http://www.bad-words.com/images/gaiagear.html And yes, the protagonist is a Char clone by the name of Alfonse Char; pretty much similar background as Full Frontal except he is on the "good guy" side this time. QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Nov 15 2010, 07:07 PM) Bandai should really consider releasing some Gaia Gear stuff... Yeah, i agree Gaia Gear needs some kind of release, that would be totally cool. Unfortunately, as some members here already pointed out, Bandai can be very unpredictable. Even existing lines such as the 1/20 scale VOTOMs, 1/48 RRR and 1/144 HGHM have not seen a new release in the past 2 or 3 years. Anything non-00 or UC unlikely to see a release anytime soon Added on November 16, 2010, 10:08 am QUOTE(Parody @ Nov 15 2010, 08:22 PM) Not bad articulations, despite all the bulky armors attached. Bandai could take the easy route and milk the molds for the G-3, RX-78-CA or just the normal F type Zaku II. This post has been edited by area88micky: Nov 16 2010, 10:08 AM |

QUOTE(nazrul90 @ Nov 15 2010, 09:56 PM) I still prefer Susanowo / Masurao better. QUOTE(area88micky @ Nov 16 2010, 10:01 AM) Anyone knows what the next RG after Char's Zaku will be ? Bandai could take the easy route and milk the molds for the G-3, RX-78-CA or just the normal F type Zaku II. No one knows for sure. But i think they have two paths to choose from: Milking Path - I'm guessing a GM, followed by the green Zaku II, RX-78-3, and Gouf. Non-milking Path - Perhaps a Nu, Sazabi, Zeta, and RX-178 Mk II. ----------- How the PG compares to the 1/60 LE: ![]() I dunno why, but i think the LE looks better overall. LE not as sharp, see the feet, v fin, shoulder armor. LE has bigger crotch (lolwtf). LE's chest seems better than PG.
I don't have any preference, since i don't really like SF anyway. but wat i think is, there aren't too much of (visible) distinction between PG and NG, unlike PG and NG Strike which u can spot the difference pretty directly. and uh, PG's lower chest seems bending backwards eh, like almost can't support it's backpack. I think the worst part is still Bandai unable to provide fully gold coated parts :/ shit colour isn't exactly the best colour yo |

To be honest, I thought the PG's rifle and wings were too small and it looked too bulky but, when put next to the LE, it all makes sense. The chest cannon placement is a little odd. Though, the two tone gold is growing onto me already. Can't wait to get this one or Stirke. |

Yeah, I know about those. The clear green parts from 00Q, The GN sword III, Epyon's sword are also UV reactive. And orange parts like Arios, Kyrios and Harute turns yellow in UV. Neon colored Gundam markers too, so if you wanna make cool effects, can try panel lining with neon-colored markers.

QUOTE(Silverfire @ Nov 16 2010, 09:35 PM) Oh by the way guys, anyone of you know the clear red parts on MG Unicorn Gundam are UV reactive? Yup. Not only unicorn but, clear colour kits too. Thus, clear colour kits look spectacular under UV light. Which also happens to be the reason why I like clear colour kits so much.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Besides UV light, the clear parts also look very good under high intensity white light as it has a much stronger penetration compared to the standard yellow light. |
