true, disable as many startup & services can help. even disabling devices might help... but if improve only 0.1 seconds and u need to use the device, no need disable ler...

99% confirm. when u can test it, u try enable the device and go to control panel and see see.

my boot time is 31 second at fastest and 33 second at average. after doing some tweaks through regcleaner and ccleaner. tweaked the bios appearances in msconfig but it made it worst so better not to touch it

i did plan to upgrade my bios but i doubt so becos i really need this laptop to do works and entertainment for myself.

my touchpad uses Alps and can do multi gesture or so, it's the physical feeling. When I touch, it likes very rough, and my finger hardly can glide thru the pad surface. Perhaps my finger is sweating? hahaha

My temperature never went more than 80C while in native resolution + high preset graphics~ Cant wait for the second chapter of SC2!!!

Is this temperature normal? with 1366x768 and all medium setting!

I just tried Crysis 2 multiplayer demo , gettin around 18FPS , unplayable imo , but the graphics are superbbbb

temp was 89C when i shut the game down , left palm was kept very warm .. LOL

hi guys, i'm thinkin about gettin 3820tg
here's what i found at thundermatch's

AS 3820TG-382G50 - 2199 RM
i3 380m (i5 can only turbo when the other core is idle?)
2gb ram (not sure dual or single dimm)
500gb hdd 5400rpm (i don't think they have 7200rpm ones)
ATI 6550
win7pro

i'll probably upgrade to 2x2gb ram & 120gb ssd next month or so...
good buy? or should i just wait for 3830tg (but i heard it only has 1 fan)

restart the laptop after hibernating process will be slower for unknown reason. maybe its becos of the startup settings migrated from hibernating to normal shutdown but the boot time reverted back to the previous one i got around 33 seconds i think after doing the normal restart around 4 times

I tried all the settings, advanced , gamer , hardcore .

seems to me advanced gets best fps , still unplayable at 18fps.

not overclocked, i will not overclock on stock fan itself. maybe one day ill get a notebook cooler and then overclock

edit : wonder if they have dual cooled laptops, at home - hook it up to watercooling system

on the go , surely wont require hardcore graphics, thus air cooled

3820TG is still the best buy for a rm2.1k price tag even until today... Still don't have exact release date for 3830TG and I am sure it would be more expensive.. Yes 3820TG with 120gb SSD is da killer machine.. Under Rm3k somemore
