QUOTE(hottemper @ Mar 10 2011, 05:54 PM) my touchpad uses Alps and can do multi gesture or so, it's the physical feeling. When I touch, it likes very rough, and my finger hardly can glide thru the pad surface. Perhaps my finger is sweating? hahaha Your SC2 temp is nice. Added on March 10, 2011, 7:15 pmFinally finish Starcraft 2 campaign. Superb storyline, superb graphics, all in one small laptop~ XD My temperature never went more than 80C while in native resolution + high preset graphics~ Cant wait for the second chapter of SC2!!! Now what games should I play? Added on March 10, 2011, 8:20 pmI played Medal of Honor for about 20mins, the temperature flung from 71C to 90C, which I never establish before. I scare it will explode, so I stop playing it. Is this temperature normal? with 1366x768 and all medium setting! Too bad I dont have Medal of Honor to test this out. It's probably wont explode, but when its approaching 90C, your I3 will probably throttle and slow down... Recommend using cooler.... |

QUOTE(ngkhanmein @ Mar 11 2011, 11:29 AM) can try to refer here for wpthttp://srfblog.blogspot.com/ just like lee said, prefetcher are enabled by default. i included some troubleshooting and explanation about the registry fix as well. looked like the boot time is very inconsistent and just now i sensed that my boot time is around 40-60 second. didnt disable my synaptic and other drivers though |

QUOTE(fr0sti3 @ Mar 11 2011, 01:32 AM) hi guys, i'm thinkin about gettin 3820tg 3820tg is darn cheap for it's hardware. Not sure how much 3830tg will cost, or will it ever reach Malaysia.here's what i found at thundermatch's AS 3820TG-382G50 - 2199 RM i3 380m (i5 can only turbo when the other core is idle?) 2gb ram (not sure dual or single dimm) 500gb hdd 5400rpm (i don't think they have 7200rpm ones) ATI 6550 win7pro i'll probably upgrade to 2x2gb ram & 120gb ssd next month or so... good buy? or should i just wait for 3830tg (but i heard it only has 1 fan) Yup, all Turbo Boost will only work if the other Core is idle. The differences in performance is probably not noticeable, unless you are in i7 which has pretty good Turbo Boost. About whether it is 1 slot or 2 slot RAM, if you can run CPU-Z, you can tell from the memory SDP tab. All x820tg has only 5400 RPM, it's very quiet, decent performance and save battery. About the 1 fan in 3830tg, no one know how good it is compare to the current dual fan. May be it is good enough for ordinary use, but if you plan to OC, 2 fan is sure advantage. |

It will only run automatically if:1. You dont have BIOS password (coz it will stop after reboot to ask for password) 2. You dont have Windows Login (coz it will stop for login) 3. You disable your UAC (coz it will ask for permission to start xboot) That's why usually I temporary disable these stuff before I run the WPT and let it run overnight.
