hmm.. i dont like the keyboard. i like my XPS1330 keyboard better as it is much sturdy and firm.

however, typing with 3820's keyboard is fine, in fact, it could be even more effortlessly... i mean it's light to press with...

it is gaming with this keyboard i dont like... especially the puny directional key...

list of reported problem (out of 69 pages of posts):

1. key fall out (Gome)
2. Cant boot up (KahVII)
3. Dead pixel (fixgd)
4. Poor build quality, poor keyboard, poor wifi, poor cooling (nicotine)
About (4), you also should read further clarification here

Overall, i'd think there are very little problem with 4820tg. Bare in mind that most of us just use it for less than a year...

For someone who has been monitoring this thread since the begining, I'd say 4820tg is a great machine. (and 3820tg is even greater... may be i am bias tongue.gif )

How much does it cost? the cover?
I was looking for one at the Mines just now but couldn't find any.
They only had for Vaio's.

This is my first personal laptop,so i don't know whether it's normal for a laptop or not, since my desktop have only 40~50 processes at most!!

Well, you haven't uninstalled the Acer apps, burn the recovery disc first before uninstall the acer apps to backup...
There's also Intel Rapid Storage, can just uninstall it
The Realtek control panel, can just disable it from startup..
Then go to control panel, java, disable the auto check for update or just disable it from startup..

50% ram is normal, Win 7 will try to cache and use the ram as much as possible...
Mine currently is 45%, and that's only with 51 processes...

Another one is, go to Google Chrome, open the options, "under the hood", untick the automatically send usage statistics..
