the current keyboard is silence, but not very sturdy. ok it's an understatement, the key is shaky! u may wanna test it out in a store first to see if u can accept it. after 1 month of using it, i m slowly accepting it, but they directional key still too small.

anyway, the new spec seem to have like 200-300 points better score out of the box. temp seems nicer, should have good OC potential cool2.gif if both available, no reason not to chose 6550! rclxms.gif

many thanks to cedricjy for sharing so much juicy info about this new spec!

Was playing Overlord 2, great fun doing evil things like ransacking villages, etc. All can be done easily by controlling your minions. Getting about 30-40 FPS at max setting.

i downloaded it before via some torrent. be careful though, the uninstall.exe is a trojan. so, when you are playing the game, it should be fine, but as soon as u try to uninstall it, that'll get executed and it will request to run as Admin, which can do some serious damage tongue.gif

anyway, the game was hilarious. here's a funny quote:

witch: "u need to find the lips of the bird..."
deathspank: "do bird even has lips?"
witch: "of cause, how do u think they whistle?"

u can even run DeathSpank in Intel graphic!

according to the article, the 6550 GC really run a little cooler. i tested my unit running in heavy load for a few hours, my CPU reached as high as 89! while GPU max is 79. but mostly, it is between 67-77.

5650 still rock, but 6550 is the way to go rclxms.gif

i notice that the WEI score is just 5.8?

that's kind of high, even though mine is reaching 89 as well. i heard that this game, and many others that ported from console usually is more demanding on CPU rather than GPU. i m quite sure your GPU will be lower.

are u sure there is nothing blocking the vent of the fan? the only occasion where my CPU reach beyond 89 is when i was playing the game on my bed. from there onwards, i always put my notebook on a flat hard surface whenever do heavy gaming...
