Yup. If we choosen 2 person room plus baby is alright w/o complications,
the bills should be within 7.5k region for both mommy & baby

Yes.

In this case they will charge both cost. So the final bill will become quite high.

Natural birth always 50/50. Just see how lucky you are.

Hi Putramon, do you mind sharing how was the 'experience' there? Also which doctor you went to and so on? Im currently gathering info to decide which doctor to go to for my wife as we just found our she's pregnant biggrin.gif

So anyone got any recommendations of doctors including the pricing for monthly checkups and the delivery and so on would be really useful tongue.gif

Currently, someone recommended me Dr. Tang from SDMC and her reviews are good, but she seems super busy.... rclxub.gif any thoughts?

overall was ok for the delivery there and its a proper hospital so all equipment should be there...chosen there due to budget and rather pay extra for confinement lady...was seeing dr. liew there in assunta...monthly checkup waiting duration will be averaged out about 1-2 hours...

I would say you may set your budget first then look for the proper place to deliver..if im not mistaken, assunta doesn't charge extra if emergency c-section pops up from normal delivery...however you can double confirm with them...

btw..congrats to you as soon to be father...fragile time frame in pregnancy now so must really take good care of your wife..

Well, its all depends on u.

If u can withstand the pain then epidural need not. But the epidural help my wife a lot. It's help relief the pain & my wife able to take nap while waiting in the labor room.

Currently am doing my monthly checkup at KPJ Damansara Specialist, TTDI

Consultation + Ultrasound cost RM190 by Dato Dr. Siva Mohan
(Anyone with similar doctor?) smile.gif

Kinda pricey IMO, so I usually schedule it on a weekend so that I could make full use of my Maybank Amex credit card to get the weekend 5% rebate biggrin.gif
