No problem at all.

You could just go to any local clinic that has scanning service.

And yeah, you are in control on who you want to meet and whrere you want to deliver the baby.

Hi milky,
on the average, the cost to deliver in private hospital would range rm 2-3k for normal delivery. Unless if you opt for caesarean, the price would range in between 8-10k. Again the price would be higher is you plan for normal delivery which ends up in caesarean or caesarean in odd hours of the night..
Most importantly you must ascertain that you have all the help that you may need for both baby and mummy. That includes paediatrician on standy if emergencies..
That again would cost more if you request..

Congrats to your newborn.. am glad you have confidence in govt hosp.. Although they are not super comfortable... they have all the facilities that you may require in a delivery.. My wife delivered in Hospital Kuala Lumpur...safely.. thats the most important..
In regards to your lack of breast milk.. how long have you tried since delivery? you need to be persistently motivated... never give up..its all in the mind...encourage stimulation and latching on...

Hi all.

Need some suggestions from sifu out here.

I'm in dilemma whether to choose Dr Noor Aini (Sunway Medical Centre), Dr Delaila (SDMC) or Dr Fatima (Kelana Medical Centre).
Prise wise, Kelana the cheapest right? But not sure of their facilities & services. SDMC and SMC are nearer to my house.

Any advise in terms of their service, consultation fees, delivery etc..Need to plan for routine checkup + delivery.

My wife only 6+ weeks  thumbup.gif

Appreciate any of your comment  notworthy.gif

Congrats. Bet you are excited.. I have worked with Dr Fatima.. she has good reputation among her patients.. In terms of delivery charges, definitely Kelana Jaya has the cheapest among the 3 you have mentioned.. It is also the smallest among the 3. Whatever it is, you have to consider the most important factors: safety of baby and mummy, facilities offered and backup in case of emergencies.. lastly the cost..

My wife is 5 weeks pregnant, so I've got to hunt for O&G for a regular checkup already?

congrats.. start your follow up.. and start reading bout how to prepare for your pregnancy. Lots of prep but take it slowly.. I always encourage parents to prepare early.. like buying car seats.. read more childhood vaccinations.. very important..

you can check with Assunta Hospital. u can also try Prince Court as their price also reduce. The most imporatant is the Gynae u are dealing with.

Most prices are between rm 2.5k-3k in KL/PJ. Thats if you are talking bout normal delivery.
If you are sticking to the budget of below 2.5K, probably you can try kelana jaya medical centre.

Damn ~~ that's like mmmMM~~ not a so good idea , as it will cost more on the C-section when you actually can push But the doctor did not want to waste time.
Thanks for the info~ cause i've been asking around , so far your the second person telling me that Dr.Tan does the "C" more. Im looking for a Doctor who encourages and support more on Normal Birth ~ My friend recommended me Dr.Tan Ee Ping. Will see her in the coming weeks. Hopefully i will not have to change doctors smile.gif
