Yup, that ca be done. Download the installer from Ovi store, transfer to phone by bluetooth/cable, then just execute the installer.

I don't really know if u could download apps using a desktop, why don't you try it out? I think there is ovi store, but it will only send the link to download the app to your phone. Don't know if its different now.

no.. it cant.. becoz it only show "send to cell" & "send to friend"...
but nvm, i already find the conclusion.. but didnt try it yet.. if this method possible, i will share with other.. smile.gif

browsing and apps of coz

i heard the browser of n8 wasn't rly good compared to apple's safari,but tht's fine,i can always install opera in it

the only thg im concern is the weak processor and lower ram compared to my 3gs....i've seen members posting bout probs regarding full ram usage error here,tht got me worrying

No flash at all & flash lite 4 have huge difference.
Flash 4 not bad in performance.

I would rather ask u to stay wt ur 3GS if u dont need a good camera....

hmmm but then the apps i usually use is only the facebook app,messenger app and some dictionaries.

as for games.....i have loads of them but only my frds are fond playing with them lol

y is tht so? ovi store nt yet fully developed?

Ovi Store stills have less apps. btw, all of us are using first batch. keep your 3GS for now if u don't use camera alot smile.gif

i guess you better get iphone 4 instead n8 lol

well apps in apple i also rarely download now... i use ipad surfing and drawing and light gaming only... biggrin.gif

hehe i never use nokia before..n8 will be my first nokia phone lol...my first phone is moto, then LG, then SE satio , future will be n8 tongue.gif
