Just let them them win; What's the point of winning argument; more important is whether the device is good for the person. no point winning an argument and pretend the device is perfect.

Anyway, each person has their own preferences and needs. If someone prioritize camera, they might consider the phone with good camera "best phone".
The mistake people often do is, they hear someone say XXX phone is good then they buy, only to find it doesn't fit them (e.g. prioritize camera, but the phone they buy have poor camera). People need to buy what they think is good for them, not what others say/think.

Hey. N8 is anodised. W995 is painted. BTW SE phones paint come out easily oh? Many of my frens using SE phone long time -more than 1 year sure i can see their phone paint coming out.

Camera sometimes too detail also bad. Your face how many pimples and how big all can count one by one. Then, the gals will use their photoshop skill. Haha     

On basic hardware(cpu+gpu+RAM) N900 still better.However N8's "polished" software & hardware makes it a better buy that N900.

Rich is not the main factor yet. Some people juz want to have something they idolize as godlike, some dun give a damn about smartphones - can call and sms enuf for them, but these rich uncles change mercedes every year. Some people are not rich, like me, but they do anything to save money (like, living like a beggar eating instant noodles) juz to save money and buy what they want like iPhone or iPad. I have to thank Gov give me RM 770 every month on allowance - im under JPA mah.
