1. u have a vid cam for HD video.
2. u dont really need that iso shown in VF, u can leave it to auto iso(which is reliable already), or when u are in studio shoot, u wont be changing it often,
3. tokina11-16 F2.8 is more of event lens, for landscape, we always shoot F8 above, killing the point of having a F2.8
4. Sigma lens issue, i tot sigma distributer offered for FREE Chip replacement for the compatible issue?
5. oh btw, all camera can use in studio. i seen A33(should be same as A55) in work in studio... confuse with the issue u mention.
6. our friend, CJLai, brought A33 (i think) and tested it over 20 minute of video in house without air conditioning. no problem.
7. on point #1, if u dont need video on camera, u pretty much settled on A580

Thanks hazril!!
Thanks zstan for the info. I think I can live without the ISO info. Just need to preset before taking pics. it's still suit my style (slow & may be steady stylelah). On the heat issue, I thought so....cause I've played for 20 minutes with no heat warning message...  blush.gif
Thanks albnok for the finer infos on the iso, video and mirror things.... To counter the mirror effect on sharpness of image, I guess I need to play around with the MLU or MPF with the timer for delicate photo.  Or is there any other method to do this?  hmm.gif

yes, another method is to buy Zeiss glass. Sure sharp until bleed. tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

Hi guys, when we register a new product at the Sony website, lets say, a body with twin kit.

Do i register 3 times? Body+Lens+Lens. Or just register once with the body only and all the other lens are included in the warranty as well.

nvm, registered already laugh.gif

8tvt: zstan's one is the first version, no revision.

The Sigma 17-70mm F2.8 EX DC OS HSM is good for video, with in-lens stabilization.

wingster: It's not your technique, not your exposure etc. It's how far you will go to get permission and to get the right angle.

It will be a lot better if you can get a controlled environment where the skater is your friend. You can get him to repeat a trick over the same ramp, while you shoot from below, giving him the signal to go.

joejoe2004: You can use flash. Of course this will not be practical at long range.

eddybeh: Yeah neither picture is perfect; #1 has a busy background, and a slower shutter speed/higher ISO/brighter aperture would bring out more exposure in the shadows. #2 is indeed too warm, and it could show the body brand instead.

Er... does that mean everybody else's pictures aren't as good as yours? sad.gif

P.S. I'd like to test the Tamron 60mm F2.0 DiII Macro - let us know when you got it and we shall have a TT!

sevenor: As I remember, there are:

First Generation Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 DiII
Canon EF mount with in-lens micromotor (noisy, sounds like a buzz)
Nikon F mount, screw-drive (not compatible with Nikon bodies without screw-drive motor)
Sony A mount, screw-drive
Pentax K mount, screw-drive

Second Generation Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 DiII NEW
Nikon F mount, in-lens micromotor (quieter than the Canon version, but slower focus than the Nikon screw-drive version)

Third Generation Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 DiII VC
Canon EF mount with in-lens micromotor
Nikon F mount with in-lens micromotor (supposedly, focus speeds have improved)

Thanks albnok for the detailed reply.
Really appreciate.
Cheers!
