Don't care the name whether it's inspira or lancer. For the same price, i can get only Forte which is KIA brand or hyundai evante. So, choose proton.

Don't want to overburden myself with high monthly instalment to get civic or altis. If civic hybrid price drops to RM100k, might consider a hybrid then.

Guys i dunno this is true or not, but i heard from my cousin who has a fren working for proton. The fren said that Inspira will have a campro engine. But not now. Maybe facelift? Its like waja. 4g18 > campro. Inspira 4b10 > cps ?

Some people still don't realize that the Official Launching date is on 10/11/2010. From now until then is a sneak preview only. What's the point of asking why there is no car in showroom? If really need to have a good look or test drive, visit Mitsubishi showroom, remember to test the Lancer model then imagine Proton logo in the front, back and on the steering. No forgetting imagine it has Lotus handling, suspension and RM30k cheaper too.

I'd say, there is no "1 perfect car" that can satisfy everyone in the world

I have test-driven this Lancer Mitsubishi before, and I found the NVH isn't good for a car above 100K, don't know whether Proton will reduce the sound insulation material which will make the NVH from "not good" to worse?

One of the reasons for the noise could be the larger rims the Lancer uses. The smaller rims should help somewhat, but I guess additional noise insulation can be added if it's such a fuss ( =
