QUOTE
To begin, we found a car that maintains all the best qualities of the Lancer but with some added refinements.

Those familiar with the Lancer will know it as a pleasantly spacious car in its class, especially for those seated at the rear.
It has a peppy engine and a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that adds refinement to the whole process.
It is a comfortable cruiser over long distances, the top of the range GT version is particularly sporty and good looking on top it.

Three variants will be rolling out of Proton's Shah Alam plant: the 2.0-litre CVT with paddle shifters controlling six virtual gear ratios, 1.8-litre CVT and 1.8-litre manual.

Prices begin at about RM80,000 for the 1.8 manual while the 2.0-litre CVT is expected to fetch RM95,000.

Waaah, frontpage updated with TWO more people who had booked it! biggrin.gif
And for those that had been asking me, I booked the 1.8 Auto rclxms.gif

QUOTE(ReidenLing @ Oct 15 2010, 10:13 PM)
you take 1.8 or 2.0 want...??
*
1.8 Auto.

QUOTE(Taipan052 @ Oct 15 2010, 11:44 PM)
so you belong to which group fire?

ahbeng style? evo wannabe? or stock is the best?
*
Stock.

To me, I kinda like the whole look that is unique to Lancer wub.gif
It's like a modded Lancer, if one looks at it icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(e30 @ Oct 16 2010, 12:14 AM)
@firedauz, you booked 1.8 or 2.0?

any source to the statement that first 2000 units are cbu?

might be just me, but i prefer the inspira's front bumper+grill compared to the lancer's.

however, first thing that needs to be changed are those rims.
*
1.8 Auto.

Okie, about the whole "first 2000 are CBU", there are no official sources.
But from what my car dealer told me, a day BEFORE the booking period starts, almost ALL car dealers were invited to be previewed on the upcoming Inspira.
Official statement mostly are from newspapers, later I go find biggrin.gif

Actually, no need to racing racing or smoke smoke.

Sepatutnya kita pandu kereta secara berhati-hati, cermat dan bertanggunjawab di jalanraya.

No matter what cars you drive on the road, safety should be the priority above all.

quite true, but the car will not live up to potential. why waste $$$ for the mivec, cvt, lotus tuned, proton dna'd when you don't want to use it?

One way or another, its each individual's choice.
If you want to speed, please do not encourage others to speed as well.
But do remember, when you speed, you also risk whoever is together in your car, AND other innocent people on the road either.

In other words, if you want to speed, go find an empty highway.
