nice! colour?

Well, I booked through my couz who deals with cars, so I'm not sure what was the final colour picked. I told him, black>red>white, whichever can be delivered faster lol (might matter if CBU, I dunno).

I don't think any of the units will be CBU happy.gif Quite impossible as the interior is probably changed (that's why the proton in the trailer is still hidden, don't want to show the interior), we know at least the front bumper has changed, the rims are changed.... Technically speaking, cannot qualify as CBU?

I think today's straits times' CBT did mention the 2.0 comes with a full body kit. not sure what that means. Or maybe I remember wrong haha!

Edit: Yup, mentioned in CBT.

The sales guy do told me that there's an extended warranty option, on top of the free all in 2 years maintenance/ warranty. But higher interest rate charged should we opt for the ewp. If not mistaken additional 3 years warranty.

I agree, white is the new black especially for lancers (and now, the inspira too i guess). White does look nice on the evo Bkit. Kinda wish I requested for white now... haha.

Anyone know if we'll also get the multi-information display as in the lancer?

I think the Inspira thread has attracted the most haters LOL. Cancel booking? Nah. I'm mighty happy with my decision ( =. It would be silly to buy a Inspira in Langkawi, yes. But only someone sillier would compare Peninsular prices with Langkawi prices at this time, under this ruling goverment, with the current general Malaysian mentality. Given the situation we are in, the Inspira is a pretty good buy IMHO.

my parents, even my grand parents bashed me when i bought a condo with my gf... then i buy another one when we got married... i can easily sell of my condo and buy a golf gti if (though i wanted it badly, not rational tongue.gif) i want, now no one has anything to say about my decision, why? because i am on the right track... i pawned then with my actions, i don't even have to say a word tongue.gif

does it really matter what other people say if u believe that your decision is correct? smile.gif

out of topic again, sorry doh.gif
*
Only a selfish person would say it doesn't matter. I guess I know where you are coming from, whereby we should not allow peer pressure to form our decisions, but still the rules are simple. If you want others to listen to you, then you should give some room to listen to others. You can ignore the advice of elder people and be successful, no doubt, but you could also fail. Now I also lari topik haha.

I have little qualms that the Lancer GT will be superior, but comparing the coming experience of the Inspira with the Gen2 is... misguided at best. C'mon, if you cannot see the difference in the settings, then you shouldn't even be talking about it here.

Saying spending 900 a month can feed a whole family when spending on proton is another moot argument. So when I buy a honda or a toyota, does that mean 900 will be small change? I bet you don't mean that. So what do you mean then? People who buy proton are low income earners and shouldn't be buying something that costs 900 a month? Maybe. But have you considered the possibility that we CAN afford the 900 a month, we want a C segment car, and at this price, there are ONLY 2 options which are the Inspira and the Forte? And the Forte is stuck with a 4speed auto? For me, the Inspira is the ONLY one that offers MT?

Frame your points correctly, and you will be respected. No one can stop you from voicing whatever opinions you have in the great arena of the internet (Except the mods!), but you can choose to make your voice a constructive one, or otherwise. In the end, nobody wins, and I waste my time getting worked up over nothin haha! Cheers. cool2.gif

One of the reasons for the noise could be the larger rims the Lancer uses. The smaller rims should help somewhat, but I guess additional noise insulation can be added if it's such a fuss ( =

So overall from the specs, is it a worthwhile buy if we take the branding factor out?
*
If I you are taking a loan, then as many have pointed out, factor in the interest rates to see if the total cost is worth it. However, the official specs aren't out yet, and it's not possible to test drive, so it's still hard to judge if it's "worthwhile", especially for the auto models. For the manual, there's nothing to compare in its class IMO, so to me it's worthwhile, and that's why I'm getting it happy.gif
