apa tu PSC chip? >.<
other things all stock.. the overclock guide that i follow ask me to change the ratio for HT and NB down so that it is the same as stock speed.. which is 2000mhz, so i did.. also didn't pump extra volt to anything other than the Dram voltage. (cpu-nb voltage still the stock settings).. what is IMC?
I gave up going to 2000mhz since i think my build doesn't support anyway.. so staying at 1600mhz now. Hope can get lower timings such as 7-7-7-20. What extra voltages should I pump into to achieve that? I tried pumping Dram voltage up to 1.8V still can't boot up system

what's cpu-nb's row ?
Thanks!!

Psc is one of many kind of chips used on ram. There are others like micron d9, qimonda, alibaba ( manufacturers relabeled), elpidas, samsung, hynix etc. Of all, i would say hyper ( one of elpida variant) is d best. Lowly binned Psc/elpida bdbg is more affordable while micron d9 oso bein not bad.

d thing w/ thuban is u need to play alot w/ divider & timing (vdimm oso ofcoz). 2000 @ lax timing is not a mammoth task provided u got a decent pair of ram. if ur lucky to get a chip w/ great imc, ~2200 prime stable oso possible. dun give up so easily... u know what's d best thing bout oc? it's not about havin great hw (if can afford why not) & runnin 'em @ awesome clock/freq, it's makin d best outta what u have > coz this will bring more satisfactions.
use 1600 divider for 1900mhz & above, timing wise really down to how well is ya sticks. thou corsair non-gt is not my fav but gettin 'em run @ ~1800ish shouldn't be a problem considerin they are binned @ 2k. unless ya board really hates d ram, else u should be able to hit 18xx at least.
@ bro cloudwan, cas7 @ high freq failed. this is what i managed so far...
