boring la.. should produce more outstanding cpu..
if no ppl buy, how to pay those engineers salary..
now no longer needed better cpu eh?
*
Hahahaha, that should be catered to next year when Bulldozer & Llano is launched lor, just like Sandy Bridge by Intel laugh.gif
Hardware side moving briskly but software side also need some focusing coz its kinda stagnant, to me isn't good having good/better hardware but lackluster software right? sweat.gif

From the reviews it said Powerchip chippies works best on AMD chips instead of those Elpidas etc..

welcome onboard bro, glad to see u here. vrz is full of intel fanboy...  tongue.gif

for blend test, i always use custom with:
1. min fft @ 8
2. max fft @ 4096
3. memory to use at least half of ya total ram size
4. time to run @ 1 minute

*cpu test is 8-512k, so if i want a quick test on ram only, i'll use 1024~4096. dunno how accurate it is but i'd say blend test is still d safest way for all components stressin.  smile.gif
yup, i'm aware of that. looks like kingston still maintain d tradition of given out good chippies on kvr, just that it's more confusin this time coz buyin relabeled chip sticks can be 2 edge sword, if u get good chippies then voila, but if d chippies are alibaba, then...  cry.gif

something value but no so value (around 50% more expensive) than kvr. keep guessin... btw, i really miss my old 1055t, this 1090t is makin d eco 1333 & its compatriot looks like normal ram.  sad.gif

This is where i'm starting to get confused, is both the bulldozer & Llano chippies share the same socket? I mean are they both gonna use AM3+ socket? hmm.gif
Or are they going to the route like Intel, having a different socket for mainstream and highend eg: LGA1155 & LGA2011? hmm.gif
If they're using the same socket that means from a thuban i can just upgrade my mobo & after that maybe somewhere down the line i can opt to go for a bulldozer or Llano core, if thats true wow that gonna be sweet drool.gif

yeah, unless u wc them but again findin d rite stuff for d whole set is not an easy task some more d price won't be cheap for sure. bro darkbladez WC CHIV is damn chio but it comes with a hefty price...  sweat.gif

it's always recommended to reapply TIM even on high end boards. i hate stock thermalpaste (tbh they look like thermal"glue" to me) & d squarish sponge, they usually did as good as nothing.  doh.gif

u just need to be extra careful when reinstall back d coolers as one mite put too much pressure when securin d screws/push pins which mite end up causin chipped/crack nb/sb chip.  sweat.gif
I always wanted to reapply a better TIM for my CIV but scared that i'll broke the heatpipe, seen someone on the net cracking his when he wanna do WC on his mobo doh.gif doh.gif sweat.gif

Hahahaha, gud to see that, anyway bro, alredy tested my temporary ram's, they are ok, working ok so far on my CHIV, tho cannot go 17xxMhz with 8-8-8 1T tho at 1.6v.. sweat.gif
Have to downgrade the speed sweat.gif maybe can tweak somemore but not putting much hope on it hmm.gif

Why ECS bro? The color is a mismatch rojak petis style, tho i think the black ballistix tracers would fit right in with the theme tongue.gif

everytime i push the fsb it will stuck at windows or got error msg.. what should i do? i use corsair xms2 ddr2 800mhz n psu raptox 550watt true pow... need asist here bro.. icon_question.gif
*
Try to isolate what is the cause of the bsod by only oc'ing ur cpu 1st, when u push ur "fsb" try lowering ur ram divider from 400 to maybe 333 or 266.. hmm.gif

glad to see 'em work bro, so i will courier d ram today if happened i find a box to house d redjaws?  laugh.gif

8-8-8 not doable? how bout 8-9-8?  hmm.gif
how big is d increment when u try to push d "fsb" then? did u try stressin d chip @ stock after havin it unlocked? give us ya oc'ed setup includin voltages detail if possible. my bet is d chip not so stable after unlocked, but there are chances that ram/nb freq is d culprit to d instability. sometimes, acc too play some parts in gettin unlocked core(s) stable. smile.gif
*
Huhuhu, haven't tested that setting yet, but right now running it around 1433mhz with 8-8-8 1T setting, no prob so far, i'll try tweaking a bit more later on.. hmm.gif
BTW bro everything suda masuk kotak, i think u can even recognize the box whistling.gif whistling.gif laugh.gif

Good to hear that bro, its a known fact that using integrated graphic have a bit of role in unable to hit higher oc too, btw don't forget to use proper cooling when u oc k, we don't want ur cpu to kaput smile.gif

call me kiasi or whatsnot, but i'd rather place my money on proven stuff instead of takin risk on d unknowns. apart from bios (no disrespect to ecs again), d build quality (look @ d pwm sweat.gif ) doesn't really convince me at all. at d end of d day, u'll be d one who forkin out d moolah so it's ya call. happy shoppin...  smile.gif
regardless d wattage (we won't be gettin any retailed 95watter neway, u can place ya hope on 1065t thou), i'd say week/batch matters d most bro. have a peep @ xs thuban oc chart then u'll have some idea which batch to get. my ex 1024cpaw not bad especially d imc...  smile.gif

Last month my bill is RM48, the month before that is RM58 and the month before that is RM47..
I'd say not much difference between when i was using my x4 955 to this x6 1055t thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Oh yeah my home has no airconds only table fans & ceiling fans & fridge & lcd tv, thats all smile.gif

Added on November 24, 2010, 12:17 pmYou guys seen the latest zambezi roadmap:

Sauce

I would say this clear up a few things about their socket, with the 980G only accepting AM3+ cpu's it could mean that Llano & Bulldozer will be on the same socket..
When use with a Llano cpu, the 980G socket builtin GPU capability of the mobo would be enable, much same like the current H55 mobo's from intel hmm.gif

No.Llano and Bulldozer wont use same socket IINM

Llano uses FM1 while Bulldozer uses AM3+ no?Didnt i showed you before the roadmap?

take a look at this roadmap vs bulldozer

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

and bulldozer :-

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

In the future,Bulldozer will also have IGP,which means they(Bulldozer and Fusion) might use same socket in the future..but not now..

Since Fusion APU has already GPU inside it,there would be no need for IGP on its motherboard(FM1).That IGP should be for Bulldozer Socket(AM3+) which it support older AM3 Processor.
*
I was thinking the same as u b4 but the problem is that it is said the newer 980G would not support the older AM3 cpu's, they only support AM3+ cpu's as per the slide i attach b4 hmm.gif
The rest 990FX, 990X & 970 got support for both AM3 & AM3+ cpu's, that where my logic of a Llano derived cpu would be also on AM3+ socket came in..
Why would they only capped that chipset for only AM3+ cpu's if not becoz of the built in APU, thats why i said it maybe would be like putting i3 or i5/i7 cpu's on a H55 chipset mobo i think.. rclxub.gif
If the cpu has APU then builtin GPU will be usable, if it doesn't then u won't be able to use the board's VGA/DVI/HDMI.. hmm.gif
Just my 2 cents ah.. blush.gif

Tau xper, if they really go the path like Intel doing, that is to have different socket for Llano & socket for Bulldozer then i'd say rugi wooo..
We have to buy a whole platform just to test a cpu, please mr.green camp don't make the same mistake.. huhuhu.. cry.gif notworthy.gif
